Took the train to this station and as I just started walking out of the station (feeling too lazy to ask around at the station ), luckily the first car after I put my thumb up stopped and took me where I needed to be, in direction of Blois.

Not much space to stand ( I stood behind the fence to feel safer ) and for a car to stop but the traffic was reasonable enough for me to try. Was going to Valla and got picked up super fast.

Not much people but I got picked pretty fast by someone coming from the town to go to Katrineholm.

Got picked within 10 minutes by a guy that took me almost all the way to Katrineholm. I think it was a good spot, space for me people to stop on the side of the road !

Was walking to go to the spot at the roundabout to go south and was walking with my sign saying « south » and à car stopped to pick me up behind me. Got a lift to Hökåsen.

Was trying to go south, asked around at the station but everyone was going north and not truck drivers since it was Sunday. A local man took me to the spot after the city ( with good reviews on this map ;)

Just put my thumb up with a sign saying « south » and the first car that came stopped and took me to Hudiksvall ;)

Not a lot of car passing by to go south and not a lot of place to stop but someone stopped and took me to a better spot to hitchhike after the city !

I thought of going near the bus station but it wasn’t visible with constructions and I thought that people were driving slowly so it was easier for people to see me with a sign saying « south ». A truck driver took me since it wasn’t very busy ( Sunday morning) and we went to birsta near sundsvall ! Would recommend this spot !

Got a ride here after asking a lot of person around. I wanted to go north from here (heading to Stockholm), and met a nice couple who took me to Rydebäck ( very nice place to camp there ).

Got picked up here by a nice guy going to malmö :) This is a pretty good spot to cross the border, not too many cars are driving into that direction so even though there is not much place to stop, people don’t drive too fast so I felt safe. Also it’s near traffic lights so people will have the time to see you.
