Took bus to Martray (for 1,60 e) from Caen and it was worthy. Just waitad at the and before the parking for caravan with sign paris ans within 30 minits I go a ride straight to Champs Elysees (Paris)

On 15. Of august there is christian ceremony in the name of holy Mary. There are christian people from all over the franc so you can just ask thous good people when they will go home and can get one ride to all franc (especialy paris)

The hardest thing about this place for you will be the competation. I found 3 others hichikers here who wanted to go the same direction. But even thou I got picked the last it was stil in a good timr. Most people goes to spain so it would be eseyer go to Barcelona from her but I wanted Carcasson (and got it)

I stand in front the tram track (I think it is safer and the car regularly stops bcz of it. Also if no tram they can stop on track). It is a nice shade here and over all good stop to get out of a Marsej (Montepellier or Nîmes)

I hiched here in full sesion so the traffic jam wwnt from the top all the way down. So it didnt realy matter wher i stand. But this spot has a shade and trashcan neer by. And people here even tho they didnt have space gave my some food for the journy so that was nice. Was here with sing to Torino but guy took me to Milan (not bad)

I dont remember exectli how long i waited but it wasnt so bad (cca 30 min). The best spot to hich is behinde the trees befor border control (even asked cops where is best for savety to stay). At evening people goes back from work in swiz to french. Had a sing with chamonix got a ride half way

There’s a shop with a gas station here, and it looks like the locals shop there. It’s not a bad spot for hitchhiking, though there isn't a huge amount of traffic. I got lucky—I was holding a sign that said "Füssen," and a guy stopped for me almost immediately; after a quick chat, he drove me to my final destination, Neuschwanstein Castle, and even gave me some food for the road.

Moderetly easy to get north impossible to go south. Started at the traffic lights closes to highway but it is better to be closer to the gass station (where i pinpoined it). In the end i was not able to ge a ride (way to Garmisch-P.) but few people asked me if i would like to go to Münch and one ask me if i would like to Tuzing shoul have saied yes.

Easy to stop cars going Münch or Nürinburg (me going Münch). There is parkinglot, fastfood, diner and gas station and only one way for the high way. Cars go nice and slow and have good visableity on you.

A lot of cars stop there on trafficlight and before you go thru everone and back to start of the trafficlight is read again and u have new cars and people to thumb. And as a bonus: guy who took me gave mi coffe at his house then throw me to gasstation. (BEST WAY to get SOUTH)

I came here thinking it would be a good place to talk to people directly—at the gas station, in the parking lot, or by talking to truck drivers—and it really is. But I was literally stuck here for four hours, asking people if they were heading to Germany—ideally Nürnberg. Everyone said no; they were either full or only going to nearby villages (even the truck drivers here didn't want to pick anyone up). Fortunately, the last driver was heading to Domažlice, which was a salvation for me at that moment.

There are traffic lights and you can see people who will go to the highway but if you dont want to be a nuisance and pres signal to stop the traffic as a pedestrian you will wait a lot. Also it is beady accesible for entering cars etc.. I personaly got lucky on the 4 car. Wouldnt go to this spot next time
