Got a ride by some Germans to Skopje. Great spot, cars are going slowly

Great spot for long distance rides. You can get here with the Bus 461 and then you will have to walk a bit. Access the highway checkpoint from north side of the highway, because south side has a fence. People from the checkpoint do not mind if you just walk over to the other side, just be careful for the cars and trucks. Got a ride all the way to Macedonia really quickly. Cars are going slowly

No luck here. However, you can take a bus south (line 461) from the other side of the highway (you can just walk there). The bus will take you one station south for free where you can walk to a highway checkpoint, which is a great spot, especially for long distance rides

We haven‘t been very lucky. Had a sign to Niš and hoped that a lot of people would take the A1 in that direction. There is no shade. Eventually got taken to the Ikea, where we took a bus to the next Highway check point outside of Belgrad. That was a way better spot

Waited pretty long but that was propably because we were there pretty late. There are some trucks from Montenegro, so you can propably get lucky here. Most people in cars are just going to Belgrad or some small villages though.

One man, one woman. Most people are going to Romania from there but we got pretty lucky and got a ride to Serbia quickly. Just ask around and I guess you will find someone. Look out for Serbian license plates

1 man 1 woman. Great spot to head south from Budapest. We got a ride quickly to Szeged. The woman even came to us because she saw us asking around

The spot is good bot not perfect. Most people stay in Czechia but some also go further to Austria

Good spot to get out of Prague. Got a ride to Tabor

Great spot to get a ride to Budapest. A lot of German and Austrian cars that are open to take hitchhikers

The first guy we asked took us to the Hungarian border. Good spot to cath a ride quickly

Waited for almost two hours. Eventually a taxi driver took us to the airport for free where we instantly got a ride. I don’t recommend this spot even though there are some people going to Budapest or Bratislava
