Late in the evening really wanted to go to klaipeda and the first car i asked gave me a ride there. The best gas station going from kaunas towards klaipeda or panevezys. You can find traffic going both directions.

It was pretty late in the evening and i was very desperate to get a car going towards lomza. There is a gas station earbies but it was a bit dead there. So went to satnd at the exit but the shit part is that this exit is used both by lomza and warsaw people so you dont know how much traffic actually is going your way. But overall there is pretty nice place to stop. Some space but ofc have a sign. Alsoy desperation was so visible that i stoped a truck here. First time i got a truck not in the gas ststion so i wa svery happy because i really wanted to get to lithuania that day.

Really nice spot to go to Krakow. Almost everyone is going there. Also here there is already some city buses to krakow so it was a bit weird to hitchhike but yeah it worked. Slow speed and plenty space to stop

Dont try here. There is almost zero traffic towards krakow from here. All the cars go the other directions. But eventually out of desperation founf a car who took me closer to krakow but still not there which was kreizi for me how hard was it to get to krakow from novy targ.

Idk how to rate this spot. Ok? There is a lot of traffic but idk how much of the traffic was going on the highway to krakow. Good bus stop. By now you are passed by most of the town. Didnt want to stand on onramp to highway. Got a guy driving to katowice and i thought that he woudl take highway to krakow and then katowice until he droped me at one of the exits of highway because there was apperantly faster way. :/// had a KK (krakow) sign

Really good spot for Poland. But have sign. A lot space to stop and cars go slow. And you get rid of most of the local traffic by now. Got a ride to nowy targ. And also accept ride only to there because rides stopping before is suicide as there is just one huge not ending town of tourist house which goes for kilometres which i can imagine is not the most fun place to hitchhike out

Just dont get off here cars go super fast and not a lot of traffic. But some tourists picked me of going from a side road to the cave so perfect for me as i was going to poland. I was pretty desperate because it was really shit spot as cars going from kezmarok were going super fast and there was no chance to stop them and no cars where going north from the side road only this one tourist one.

Busy gas station even late in the vening. I was trying to go to poland from here and didnt know which route should i take. Trough rzeszow or krakow but some nice guys where going to banska bystryca so i just decided going to poprad. More progress in the day because it didnt seem that anyone would go to poland at that time of the day. But in hindsight there would be maybe more polish traffic going to rzeszow but idk. I only tried krakow route.

There was not a lot of traffic and most of it was going towards budapest but found one truck going pas kosice so he was my savoiur and took me exactly in my direction. But shoudl eventually work if you are going north from here. Going budapest shoudl be very easy.

Idk if this is a best spot in the town but for sure you must go to this town if you are going west to Hungary or Oradea until the highway is not yet built. A lot of Hungarian license plates but finally a guy stoped for me who was going to Frankfurt. Sadly i was going to east slovakia so got off just after debrecen. Would have been really nice progress if i was going to germany. Really nice guy tho. Stood with oradea sign. Tho one trucker going the other direction shouted at me in some language and pounted to go more in the town or was trying to say that it was not the best spit but it worked in the end. But holy its a fucking long ride to Oradea form here trough all the villages

It was nice spot to hitchhike north. It felt a bit weird to stand before a roundabout as you usually satnd after. But here was a lot of space to stop and most of traffic was going on the highway north. But idk if i would recommend to come here all the way from the center because its not very nice to get here. And also if you are walking here take the left side of a bridge over the hoghway. But if you are coming from town just find some other nice place and stand with a sign. There shoudl be a lot of traffic to Cluj

From google maps it seemed atleats half of the coty should go trough this road to go on the highway west. I had a sign A1 and first the guy just wanted to take me to the highway but I declined and then a bit later one guy stopped and took me all the way to alba iulia and went a bit out of the way to get me to the better spot to Cluj because i was going there. He was very generous guy but he told me a lot about religion but it was fine. He was really nice guy.

We waited here for 3 hours but we were not trying to go somehwere really. We were 4 and basically we were just waiting for a train because it was pretty late evning. Also maybe it woudl be nicer to stand at the end of the town not in the middle of it. But there is a looooot of space to stop. But eventually somebody stopped and took was going to sibiu so we just agreed and went there because we didnt have any plan

Wouldnt say its a great spot because there is spot to stop but its not very visible. But we got lucky because a guy picked us pretty fast but we only needed to go to the next roundabout because we were trying to go south. Also two lanes of traffic so most of the cars cant stop

It didnt seem like a super bad spot but we didnt want to stand on the bus stop because we would only catch half of the traffic so we stood just after intersection but noone stoped for us for a bit and we were really short on time so we just decided to walk to the next gas station. There was really no traffic in the evening going over the mountain. So we felt we might get stranded but eventually when we started not care if we get somethign or no a van stopped for us going to hunedoara. And we just needed to get to Brad so thats nice.

It was very weird place to stand because we didnt know that is was a bus station and it didnt look like one. But at some moment just a lot of people spawned around us to take the bus so we could hitchhike but we waited out and stood with a sign to Stei and a bit kreizi romanian lady picked us up to there. Good spot. Slow traffic because of the town and it is a bus stop. Stood first with a thumb noone stopped and then we made a sogn beuis and got a ride instantly. But the ride wanted money afterwards so it was a bit akward but we couldnt pay.... So always say Fara bani(no money) when entering the car in romania. Also make a sign

Not really agood gas station. Mostly local low traffic. Probably would recommend just stading with a sogn at the roundabout before because there is plenty of space to stop and everyone is going that direction. Yeah also big recommendation is to have a sign in romania. People prefer that. And always say Fara bani?(No money?) Because they might ask for money after

Shit gas station with almost no traffic. And all the traffic that is there is going to debrecen or surrounding towns. We were trying to go to Oradea and noone was going there until one van picked us up. But some people told us that there is more romanian traffic on the gas station before. But that traffic might just go to Satu Mare instead. But probably i would recommend trying one gas station before maybe.

Went there to catch the morning work traffic and trucks. Was trying to go in Romania direction but as most of the cars are going towards Budapest we just decided to go to the next gas station towars there and cross the highway. It worked pretty well as we founf a ride towards debrecen pretty easy.

Didnt seem to be a very busy gas station. And we were trying to go to a town between wroclaw and katowice and we asked a czech car to take us to the next gas station to that direction because we thought they were going to prague but actually they were going to ostrava so they were going literally past the town we needed which was insanely lucky. But probaly easier to catch rides to poznan direction here than south. Most people were not even going that direction. Most still stayed in berlin

For three hours we stood there. Hundreds of cars passed and noone took us. Ok its not the best place to stop but still every single car was going to the next gas station because there were no other exit before. And some people were showing the local sign. Really good spot. Traffic is super slow. 30km/h. We were trying to go to Germany with just a thumb and we go a ride to the highway but probably maybe woudl have been smarter just to stay there with a sign. We were two of us so we didnt go ask truck because we thought its not worth it but probably would recommend to do that there because it has very big paeking for truck that want to avoid the tolls.

For me it was super annoying gas station because of the layoutn for some reason there was almost no traffic at the gas station but the food place was packed with people but they stay there for long time so you dont know where to aks people so probably best to just stay at the exit. And also it very much didnt help that we were trying to go towards poznan from there which is probably the worst direction from here. Most of the cars go to Berlin or Potsdam direction. But eventually we found a ride to the next gas station on the ring

Waited here because there was more place to stop but i would recommend to just stand at the exit of roundabout. Thats the most popular position to stand in Montenegro. Locals do that even tho there is no place to stop but drivers prefer much more stopping at lower speed even tho blocking the road. But got the ride in 30 min with a serbian guy who did the wrong turn. Got to Berane. But not easy section to HH

Very shit spot. Tried on the main road but cars go fast and there is piterally zero space but got picked up by people going from virpazar to zabljak but needed only podgorica. I would suggest taking the train ehoch is cheap (i didnt want to wait 1 hour) ot just asking people at the exit of town if they hoing to your direction

Stood on the intersection because two locals advised me too to catch also the traffic going from the town itself into direction of Dubrovnik. Not much traffic at the time so I could just stand kinda on the road and move to the side when needed. Didnt have hope after the whole day but a serbian guy was coming back from his epic trip on the islands picked me up because he drove past me on his bike while i was waiting. Had a great time with him. Drank some beers after in some random local pub. I changed my plans from going to dubrovnik to going to bosnia becauee i was sick of crotia. So my advice DONT HITCHHIKE IN CROTIA. HORRIBLE

The spot itself is very good. There are trees some shadow depending on sun position. A looooot of space to stop. And cars dont go that fast yet. After the roundabout. We wre trying to get to koman lake ferry and were taken by a tour bus ehich was very suprising. But they took as all the way. Probably the best place to get out of Banksa Štiavnica. It is on a steep hill so cars see you for a long time and speed is slow and there is bus stop, but cars could not see it from going uphill. The driver was going to Zvolen, so I asked to be left out at the gas station on highway next to Budča (I was trying to get to Bratislava so I just crossed the highway)
