Okay place to stand. Most traffic seemed to go to Karabük. Major road works as of August 2026.

The second person we asked at the Mol gas station gave us a ride to Bucharest :) Two boys in their mid-twenties.

Local Romanians were easily picked up, but our efforts to head towards Brasov were fruitless. Someone took us 15 minutes further in the end.

Got extremely lucky with a ride by one of the first cars to pass by. Took us to Sibiu.

A ton of cars, but all full of families. It seems to be a great spot to head to Serbia and especially Romania, but maybe not in summer :(
