Not a lot of people want to stop. Got a ride about 20 mins down the road and the guy ended up buying me a bus ticket to Elbasan

Went to Tirana via Elbasan.

The driver turned around for a group of 3, picked us up and drove to Elbasan (he was going to Tirana airport)

comming from Vlorë going to Elbasan a couple left us here, not a great spot because is roundabout, on the sun and not much space to park but we got a ride fast.

there is a small café with space for cars to park on the highway entrance We were going to Elbasan, we got a ride to Fier with a local going to Saranda. Some cars stoped asking for money.

We tried to hitchhike at the entrance of the fast road to Elbasan, even though it seems impossible to stop (and the police was on the roundabout so we were afraid that nobody wanna stop in front of them), someone stopped after 10min. Albanian people don't really care about the space to stop =)

One of the first cars I stopped took me directly to Elbasan (I wanted to go there) but he was continuing to Tirana, so if thats your destination this spot might work as well. A lot of space for cars to stop!

for some reason we decided to walk here which took FOREVER, but we ended up getting a quick ride to elbasan. Also felt completely safe on these outskirts of tirana

Most of the Cars Go to elbasan or Tirana so its pretty easy to get a Ride. We waited half an hour on a sunday.

Very good spot for hitchhiking to Elbasan or Tirana. I got the ride after 5 mins, it was in 2017.

After seeing this spot we decided to try it and even though it looks bad we hitchhiked also on the roundabout, behind the trash and got a ride to Elbasan pretty quickly

Next to a trash container you can hitchhike in the bend, got a ride to Elbasan in 20min

The Albanians described in the comment above were probably not waiting for the bus but also hitchhiking (albeit for a fee), so they didn't give you bad PR, they just got there earlier than you. Regardless of that: easy spot for Elbasan, got a ride within 15 minutes.

The spot is very good towards Elbasan. The traffic is quite slow and a lot of cars pass. But when we were standing here there were 5 Albanians with us, waiting for the bus, but i guess they didn't know when it will arrive so they looked like hitchhikers and they were making us bad PR. But after around 25 min we got a ride.

You can get a ride to Elbasan evry 5 or 10 min from here.

It is a place near biggest shopping mall in Albania, biggest in Tirana. The road is going to Elbasan, and from there also towards Macedonia (Ohrid).

Description is right. We've got a ride from here straight to Tirana and I think in case you wanna get to Tirana you should have a direct ride from here...well at least to Elbasan
