Cars didn't stop, 2 buses to Tirana came and wanted to take 5€, but we waited for 20 minutes and a young guy picked us up and got us straight to Tirana

was walking since Himarë, expecting a ride to vlore. But no one stopped. A postman took me in Dhermi and said he was going to Tirana. I accepted and we had a nice trip

Went to Tirana via Elbasan.

The driver turned around for a group of 3, picked us up and drove to Elbasan (he was going to Tirana airport)

Caught a car going to Dürres. Before was offered a ride to Tirana for 20€ (refused) and another ride on a very short distance (refused too)

I was just sitting on a sidewalk (didn't hitch cars) and the second car which was passing by stopped in front of me and its driver gave me a ride to the main road to Tirana.

The first car stopped and drove me to the main road to Tirana (a man went to Shkodër).

Great spot. Lot of tourist and cars are going slow because of the roundabout. Eventually nice Albanian guy took us to Tirana.

One of the first cars I stopped took me directly to Elbasan (I wanted to go there) but he was continuing to Tirana, so if thats your destination this spot might work as well. A lot of space for cars to stop!

Good spot, speed bump slows all the cars down so they have time to look at you. We were really lucky because some hikers we saw in Theth stopped for us and took us to vlora (i had a sign Tirana, wanting to go to tirana and then to some beach)

this is the main road from tirana to korce, everyone goes through here. super long but very scenic drive

for some reason we decided to walk here which took FOREVER, but we ended up getting a quick ride to elbasan. Also felt completely safe on these outskirts of tirana

Good traffic, also off season. We got very lucky with a nice Albanian taking us (2ppl) all the way to Tirana. Had a nice conversation about the Albanian politics.

I went to Ohrid from Pogradec. I choosed not to go the way through Saint Naum Monastery, where there is less traffic. Several cars and buses came but they mainly showed me where the buses are. Then I was dropped off at the intersection between the road to Tirana and the one to Ohrid.
