Not too busy Reststation, but should be easy to get to Graz

Everyone goes to Vienna!! (Saturday morning, two guys, sign Graz) We asked around, hitchhiked with a sign... About 20 cars would be willing during those 3 hrs to take us to Vienna. So recommendation would be to take anything, or not come here in the first place if heading to Graz. I was here before solo, and had a different experience (read below)

We waited there for about two minutes with a sign saying “Ljubljana, Graz, Vienna,” and after two minutes, a man from Slovenia with Mercedes picked us up and drove us over to Ljubljana.

Great spot for getting south. Hitchhiked at night, 2 guys, still doable, sign "Graz"

Nice place, and a bit of luck on a way directly to Graz. Guy took us to gas station near Graz airport. Probably good spot to Slovenia - Ljubljana.

Don’t recommend this place. Really not good spot to Graz direction, so we (2) waited too long and in the end, man working on gas station took us back to Vienna. Everyone went just to Vienna or Eisenstadt on M3.

Terrible spot to Graz direction. Everyone went to Linz direction or just to Vienna. From this place we (couple) moved just a few kilometers (20 minute ride) to gas station under Vienna.

Not so frequent gas station, but last in Slovakia in a way to Austria/Hungary. We (couple) spent some time here and asking people directly and also with sign to Vienna/Graz, but we didn’t manage it to Graz that day.

I tried to Graz. After 5 hours I gave up. I asked many people's and also hittchike but simply- 99% cars go to Salzburg/Innsbruck/Passau.

A local said to us that it’s a best spot to leave Graz direction Vienna. Mostly people leave from the other side. But we had probably luck. Got a ride directly to Vienna- Patience is the key;)

Allot of cars from Graz but somehow not really open to take you into the City with them. People at the gas station didn’t went to the city. But it’s possible- takes just time;)

It’s a good spot. Train station is close if you get stuck. Not too much traffic and the guy that took me Said it’s normally not the best spot to go to Graz. But still I got there and waited 5 min- maybe luck.

I waited two hours but it was a low traffic day and eventually there was some works on the gas station. Definitely the best place to go west ! Got a ride to Leipzig. If you really want to go to Germany it's completely doable there's a lot of Germans. Actually more than Austrians haha. But you have to talk to them. I waited almost two hours at the exit of the gas station then I decided to talk directly to the gas station and I was offered also a ride by a bus driver for free to Graz at the same moment I asked Hungarian couple with a dutch plate, they were going at the North of Holland but we agree to let them drop me at Leipzig. Two (male) hitchhikers but we waited there not even a minute. Really cute and young couple took waved on us when they saw our board with huge Vienna on it and they even offered us that they would take us to Graz.

Good spot for Graz, not that much for vienna.

Good Spot to get a fast ride out of Graz. My direction is Vienna and the kind driver picked me up After 2 minutes of waiting on a saturday miday.

One driver from austria took me to Graz. I waited for less than 5 minutes. It is a bit tricky for a car to stop, but the red light takes ages to change.

We were lucky to have met a guy from graz (big communist city in Austria) with a big van, where three of us could fit. He even took a slightly different route then he planned to get us to our goal. Apart from that, the village soboth meets at 6pm to empty their garbage, next to the gas station. Loads of people comming over, but they all live around the area, thats why they dont take u nowhere. Loads of bikers drive that road too. The cows are very friendly and curious at that sopt

A lot of people going to croatia on vacation, but with already full cars. However many people are also going to Graz

Had a sign to Maribor Zagreb, no chance, changed it to Graz and got there instantly, very nice people even took me to the next highway station
