Two (male) hitchhikers but we waited there not even a minute. Really cute and young couple took waved on us when they saw our board with huge Vienna on it and they even offered us that they would take us to Graz.

First time hitchiking. Waited for about 2h asking around to go to Vienna/Wien. Most people that stopped were going to Balaton but eventually got a ride all the way to Vienna. Would recommend this spot.

Got a lift to Sopron after asking an Hungarian old man. Better chances to go to Hungary than in the Gas Station at Vienna East

Big station with little traffic to Vienna, people go all over the place and finding a goot ride is difficult, lots of asking around Wouldnt really recommend

Good Spot to get a fast ride out of Graz. My direction is Vienna and the kind driver picked me up After 2 minutes of waiting on a saturday miday.

seemed like a good spot to start towards Vienna, since you can adress people directly at the gas station and cars are slowed down due to road restrictions, but even though its connected to A94, most people passing by are staying in munich. But in the end we (2 guys) got lucky, so the spot itself is quite good.

Waited a bit in the evening, slept near the street on the rim of the field. Next morning got a ride towards vienna.

First, we tried a sign saying MUNICH, after two hours it started raining and still nothing. Then we tried a sign with LINZ, again two hours and nothing. Finally, we tried just VIENNA with a thumbs up—still nothing. In the end, we took a RegioJet bus to Vienna and from there we hitchhiked overnight to Munich. For us, it was a very bad spot, but give it a try and see for yourself :)

One of the best places to hitchhike near Katowice. We planned to go in the direction of Ostrava in the further Budapest and we managed to catch the driver to Vienna. Overall, a great place to catch a foot in the direction of Wroclaw, Berlin, Vienna. It is worth going to the parking lot and asking people where they are going - a lot of individual drivers and trucks.

Good spot to go to Vienna Got picked up by the third car, got taken close to Vienna. It's in a shade, cars have nice spot to stop and people are going to the direction of Vienna. Feels comfortable. 2 guys, backpackers

2 people, we had sign Vienna and tried for 30 mins, than we switched to sign Reinthal and that took us 15 mins, it's nice spot tho and drivers have a bus stop to stop and they see you from a long distance

Good for people going to Vienna visible to people coming out of the gas station and traffic has enough time to see you and stop safely. Vary out of the way only ended up there because my last driver went out of his way to go past Sopron where he was.

Good for getting rides in Vienna/Bratislava direction space to stop and traffic not moving too fast. I stood a little before the bridge to be more visible and so there’s more space to stop. But under would be good for rain.

In general, I’m was trying to catch ride do Gratz but 99.99% of drivers was going to Vienna
