Not a lot of traffic. Asked around and got quite lucky to rather quickly find a ride to Vienna

I took the train to weiskirchen and walked to this stop due to its great ratings. And it lived up to it. I was there on a Tuesday around midday and only asked maybe 6 people until I found a person with an Austrian plate (I tried to go to Vienna) and the person was heading to Nürnberg and dropped me off at a gas station before entering the city. There was quite a few people from the Netherlands who also drove to Austria but didn’t have any space left. One person also offered to take me to Würzburg. If I’m in the area I will definitely come back to this spot to cover greater distances.

If u want to Go to Vienna, don't. Almost everyone goes to the south or their Cars are completely filled. After 2 hours three other hitchhikers joined me and we asked Split Up and asked around. I was able to get the First Ride bc the guy had only one place left.

Wanted to go Vienna but decided to hitchhike without a sign, Just to get on the Highway. Guess i was lucky, bc someone took me Salzburg

getting there is a pain in the ass but i think it’s worth it. many people going in the direction of Graz or Vienna. got a ride from a woman driving to vienna for work.

Tried to catch a ride to Graz in the evening and had no luck, but the day after we caught a ride to Vienna in 30 mins.

Terrible, waited here Saturday afternoon about 3 hrs, then Sunday morning for an hour and already was thinking of going away, but luckily a guy brought me all the way to Vienna… maybe weekdays are better, idk, but hated it. At least the McDonald’s is there

This is THE spot to leave Vienna (mainly to the south). lot of cars n We got a ride within 30 minutes to Graz

Hitchhiked from this spot twice. Last year we waited a few minutes and immidiately got a car to Vienna. This year we waited aprox. a half an hour and then a two cars stopped for us and offered us a lift to some Czech towns along the road which we declined. After one more hour we sucesfully got a lift to Vienna. In my opinion, and based on my local knowledge probably the best spot to hitchhike from Brno towards Vienna. The cars are going fast, but theres lots of them. I Recommend to hold a big directon sign.

literally didn’t have time to finish a bratislava sign and someone took us, very good option if you’re headed for bratislava/vienna

It was so super full and perfect to find a ride. But at the Restaurant they didnt want to give me tab-water. First car i asked took to vienna.

The gas station also serves as a highway exit into the local industrial district and these cars generate most of the traffic, there aren't many cars actually going to Bratislava. That being said, this is most likely still the best place to get out of Vienna eastward.

The traffic was not terrible, but nothing too crazy either. Took me almost 4 hours to find a ride, but once I did, I got taken all the way to my target for the day (Vienna).

I don’t recomment this gas station, 90% of cars are going back to Vienna. We wanted go to Graz but end up in Hungary after 2 hours

It isnt so bad. I understand, that trying to get a ride to Vienna or Budapest from here might be quite a hard task. However, it was just fine for hitching out of Bratislava. We used sign Jarovce which worked great and got us to the OMV petrol station in Jarovce (on D2, southbound).
