good place to go to Vienna but horrible place to go to Budapest. Besides that the owner of the gas station hates hichhikers, he called the police on me and almost got me in serious trouble cause I didn’t speak the language.

Worst place to ask for a ride to Budapest, a lot of people going to Vienna. Besides that the owner of the gas station is completely against hitchhiking, he tried to kick us by calling the police and we almost got into serious trouble. Avoid this gas station, only seems a good option if you’re going to Vienna but still I believe tha there are better places

Got a lift to Wolkersdorf with a sign "Brno" however during that hour, only about 10 Czech cars passed me. Also I didn't get too many interactions with the drivers.. but it's a nice spot to get from Vienna since the bus to the shopping mall is free - also this place is recommended by Hitchwiki👍🏼

A local from Vienna drove me here saying it will be a good spot to go to Czechia since many people from CZ work here. And indeed it was true. I wouldn't choose the place myself, that's why 4/5 but it was great in the end.

We stood with a sign ‘Graz’ but only roughly 70% of drivers noticed us and gave their gestures. There is a lot of cars driving directly to the highway direction Vienna and Graz. After roughly an hour or so we changed for a thumb only and a kind girl stopped for us.

Great spot, the road from maribor was all jammed up, so cars were leaving thru here. Weekend and a summer holiday so a lot of germans and austrians leaving home. Caught a pair from my city so going straight home!! (sign for vienna bcs dont want to get stuck in graz)

Waited there for some hours. Nobody stopped to pick me up. Had a sign saying A1 --> Linz, Wien. Spot should theoretically be alright as there is enough place for cars to stop. I ended up taking the train to Vienna.

We tried all exit gas stations on way to Vienna, but without success. Then we tried this spot, and after 15minutes max. we got ride.
It is bus station at exit from near mall and small gas station. Cars goes slowly here, and can see you nicely.
