Tooks us 7 minutes. We held a sign towards rotterdam even if we had to go to brussels but we managed to get a ride towards breda

Guy and girl heading to Cologne. Waited 2h15 at the exit/entrance to the highway with a sign saying Germany / Köln. No luck, mostly Belgian cars. Moved to outside the shop entrance with our sign and immediately got offered a lift to Leuven by the Chief of Brussels police... (ACAB but they can sometimes do nice things)

It took us 7 mins to get a ride to Brussels. We held a sign. It's the road just before the entrance to the highway towards Brussels/Antwerp centre. We were two girls at 9pm and got a very nice man take us.

Heading to the UK. Waited 1h45 with a sign saying Gent. 5 cars stopped and offered a lift to Brussels or the highway, 6th one took me to Drongen petrol station past Gent.

Got a ride to Brussels.

Wanted to go to Paris, not the best spot for that. Many people go to the Netherlands or Brussels.

Direction North: Apart from Brussels many cars go to Antwerp or the Netherlands. Not so much for Gent

Not an easy spot for cars to stop without holding up traffic. Found a lift to a good petrol station on the other side of Brussels quite quickly though

Didn’t take long before I had a lift to Brussels with a car full of Germans on their way to a Jason Derulo concert

I needed to go just to the Brussels city centre and was able to find a ride almost immediately, even though it was already dark.
