Was about to give up because the sun was setting but then I got a ride to Liège

Maybe my Liège sign was a bit optimistic because nearly everyone was going to Bruxelles. Eventually got a ride to Namur.

Was standing at onramp with a sign for Liège but visibility was not great, I ended up moving to the roundabout before the gas pumps, reverted to my BE sign and I got a ride past Mons in like 5 minutes.

Hitched a ride with Dutch people going to Maastricht, they dropped us of close to Liège. Service station with a shop, KFC and burger king.

We stayed here for an hour, it is difficult to get to the road from the carpooling park, and cars would go very fast and there was not much room to stop, so unless it was a red light they had no chance to slow down- a couple of people offered a lift to a nearby village, but we didn’t get offered any good lifts to Liège (where we wanted to go). Wouldn’t recommend for long distance !

More people going to the Netherlands than Liège but I still found a ride there in under 30 minutes. Even got approached back! Bonus points for the cute dog I got to have on my lap (not reflected in the rating.)

Took me two hours to find someone to go in the direction of Liège. To be fair, it was a bad time, Mid-November on a weekday when it was super foggy, but most people were just going to Aachen or North to the Netherlands or Antwerp. So if you wanna go there, it's a good spot, I guess. However the person who took me was super nice and even made a small detour for me.

Quite good spot just before the tunnel leading to E40 towards Liège. Right side of the road was full of parked cars which made pulling over a bit more challenging. There's a traffic light just before and good visibility so drivers can see you from a far and can consider longer if light is red. Had a sign saying 'Liège' and got a ride from a business man heading back home on a Friday afternoon.

Waited 30 minutes with 2 persons to get to liège, lot of car passage

They added a lane on the on-ramp. It was easier to hitch there in the past when there was one one lane. I'd prefer the ramp near Crowne Plaza Hotel to go in direction of Liège, Eindhoven or Breda.

Got a ride to Liège in 5 minutes

More cars seem to take the E34 to Turnhout and Eindhoven than the E313. Also very few cars that pass by Liège. Most German cars take the E313 and 314 to Aachen.

after 35-40min it worked for me to go to liège...

Had a bad luck day trying to move to Liège. It was -2C and still cars didn't stop before 1 hour, when a couple of seniors took me to another exit of the city where I could have a chance. I definitely accepted since winds a lot here! Hehe

Good spot. I was standing with sign for Liège and got 2 offers within 10 minutes. I decided to wait and after 10 minutes I accepted one to Verviers because of its starts snowing.

Good spot. As I don't speak french I didn't speak with any driver because all of them were older than 40 years-old apparently. Anyway, I got a ride within 15 minutes to Herstal with a sign Liège.

in the bus stop area in front of the hospital it is also working for brussels and liège...
