I first tried to take the road south of Sofia towards Plovdiv, but people to Plovdiv are actually using the highway north of Sofia. Not very good place, seems like only local people stop. I got invited to spend the night in the Apartment of a couple as it was getting late. Most traffic is going to Burgas. Got stuck here all sunday afternoon + monday morning.Cars are full, I asked to truck drivers but all declined until one drive me tl little before Svilengrad.
For Turkey better to wait longer to get a direct ride from Sofia/Plovdiv.
