There Is a bus station and all Cars from krk go trough here. Its great if you want to go to rijeka. Almost no Cars in other directions

Not a lot of traffic going towards Rijeka in late September on Sunday. I had a sign and no one stopped. Eventually gave up on the sign and hitchhiked the local road using 6 different rides

2 people,lots of trafic to rijeka.

Been here for 6/7 hours with breaks. Got total of 3 cars stop. Drivers typically offer to drive you 10-30 kilometers towards Zadar or Rijeka. If it happens to you, please DO TAKE THEM and don’t wait for a direct ride to a big city. I got greedy and had to spend the night. No sign advisable as you have to get opportunistic. No shade, no grocery store. Brutal, brutal place.

Great spot! We had just pulled out the sign and a Bosnian driver had stopped and take us to Rijeka.

It's a great spot to get to Italy or Koper, but we were trying to get to Rijeka, and no one was going that way. We decided to walk the 4-5 km to crossroad the 6 and the A1, and hitchhiked there after literally two minutes.

We got to Postojna (ultimately Rijeka) quite quickly, but a much better spot is at the highway entrance.

A lot of traffic but noone taking us to Rijeka, in the end we made a sign for Karlovač and got picked up. It’s on a crossroads near a pedestrian crossing, just next to the on-ramp for the highway. Nice runoff area for pickup.

It was not enough space for cars to stop. A local guy picked us up and took us to better spot at Zbandaj. No shade, but in Porec maybe the best option in diretion Rijeka and further.

leaving Pula was a nightmare, but eventually found a ride to move closer to Rijeka and Zagreb. Had a sign RJ/ZG

The bus stop after the roundabout is the best spot if you're going from Pula to Rijeka, many cars going even in the evening and the highway to rijeka starts soon. Two cars stopped for me, but the first one offered me a ride to the airport, it wouldn't have been a good choice to take that ride though as most ppl from the airport are going back to Pula.

Mostly fully packed family cars going on holidays. We were two men (czech.asian and ukrainian) hitchhiking to Rijeka. The beat way to get a ride was to cold approach drivers stopping at the petrol station. There a lot of traffic tho.

Wonderful spot (even has a good view). Cars slow down because of the curve and there is ample space for people to stop at the rest area. I went direction Rijeka and got a ride at 9am signaling with the thumb

Its a good spot if you want to go rijeka/zadar/split. We stood with a sign at the exit of the station but you can ask people instead. Hard to get there though

The spot is not perfect. People doesn’t stop but we are not surprised its italy. We were lucky a croatian take us to rijeka. Advice : put you in the center of the intersection to get the both road if you want to go to Croatia or Slovénia

A man on a old car took me to Rijeka, so long ride. Lot of cars were passing there on Sunday evening.

A guy and a girl. It's not a perfect spot because there is not a ton of space where to park, but the cars go decently slow. We held up a sign that read "SUD". We got lucky and got picked very quickly by a great guy. We initially asked him to bring us to Rijeka, but ended up travelling with him until Gospic.

Not mutch traffic, but relatively many people stop, but more go towards Pula. Got a ride right into the center of Rijeka.
