I needed to get out of Liberec in the direction of Jablonec / Poland. I asked around here, and one guy brought me to a much better spot near Jablonec.

Maybe I got lucky, but I got a ride all the way to Liberec. To me, this is a good spot for Liberec direction.

Semi-decent spot. If going in the Liberec direction, I suggest you aim for a smaller town and find a better spot, but not a bad one either.

you can't expect much from this spot. I think Liberec is like maximum you can get xd. Most common will be Turnov :/

I know this place and I knew iw would be a good spot. It's a place with big traffic, but it's local traffic. I didn't even get to Liberec as I wanted.

Most people from here are going to Liberec, but with a bit of luck they also head towards Prague. You might also find someone going towards Železný Brod. A sign is useful here.

Great place to hitch hike in direction of Liberec

Easy to get to, stood at the exit with a sign saying Liberec and was offered a ride to Jablonec by an old couple who themselves had hitchhiked from Prague to Paris in the spring of 1989

I use this place regularly, Sign necessary, best place for Liberec, Dresden and Hradec directions. Mixed trafic from west Prague pass by tunnel blanka and continue in all these directions. That is why you need a sign. Don't forget thumbs up.

So we thought it would be a good idea to get dropped off here. (Our driver was going from Brno towards Liberec, and we wanted to go north to Ústí and Dresden.) There was a petrol station and a KFC, but the traffic was 90% local or more towards Hradec. After an hour of asking around a former hitchhiker kindly drove us to a better station a bit north.

We got to Želeny Brod from here. And continued towards Poland. Not too many cars going though, most are going to Liberec

Still a good spot for rides to Liberec/Jablonec. Last time I got a ride on wed. morning (medium traffic) in about 20min using a JBC sign. There is a K+R parking lane with plenty of space. Safe for both drivers and HHs. I think having a sign is a must on this spot. There is a bush nearby if you need to pee :)

I was standing here with really big sign Liberec and after 1 hour of waiting I gave it up. Nex time I will try another place.

The best place in direction to Liberec. There is a lot of space for cars to stop.

The best place to hitchhike in Harrachov in direction of Jablonec, Liberec, Praha. Just after the bridge, there is plenty of space to pull over and cars are not going really fast. You are visible from a very, very long distance. Traffic isn't so big, but you will finally find someone.

It shouldn't be problem to go to Liberec, when you have sign.

This is a great spot to Horice / Jicin / Turnov / Mlad Boleslav / Liberec. Drivers are not too fast and they have plenty of time to read your sign or just decide to stop.

This may be a good place to Liberec. People from coming from centre turn left here onto the new motorway. The red light is long so you can ask people directly into the window. :)

I was standing with my sign Liberec and after 15 minutes a driver asked me if i wanted a lift to Liberec!!not so crowded gas station but easy to reach!

I waited here twice for less than 30 mins. - nice spot in direction Liberec
