Two wonderful germans took us directly to Prague. Optimal spot, directly on the highway, petrol station and lots of traffic there mostly going to Prague. Chaka.

Not really good spot to go from Stará Boleslav to the north, but the best in Stará Boleslav I think. On the road to the highway exit, there is some dirty space where cars can stop. Road is straight and cars go slow, but most of them go to Prague or it is a local traffic, do not very much cars go to the north. Sign reccomended. Still got ride to Mladá Boleslav in 40 minutes.

Not many cars there (at Sunday), originally our plan was to go to Dresden, but found a ride to Prague. Place looked great but it was a little empty after 1pm.

Many people going to Poland, we wanted to go to the Czeck republic. Eventually a car took us to a rest station on the highway to Prague which was better.

A lot of people stayed in the area, maybe we were a bit late for the travellers going to or via Prague (11:30am-12:30pm). also we were three people, so some also didn't have space for us. But eventually a couple took us to Prague.

Almost only local people going to Prague (but quite frequently) and not very willing to take 3 people in. Not ideal to go in the direction of Brno so we went back to the bigger gas station north.

Not the best place to go in the direction of Brno (D1 highway). A lot of cars stop here but most people only go to Prague. We (3 women) were asking around for 2 hours (from 4pm to 6pm) until a guy headed towards Slovakia took us with him.

Didnt seem to be a very busy gas station. And we were trying to go to a town between wroclaw and katowice and we asked a czech car to take us to the next gas station to that direction because we thought they were going to prague but actually they were going to ostrava so they were going literally past the town we needed which was insanely lucky. But probaly easier to catch rides to poznan direction here than south. Most people were not even going that direction. Most still stayed in berlin

The best spot to leave Prague towards Nurnberg. 3 cars stopped and offered me a ride to Pils, but I waited for a German car and got lucky. Guy took me close to Munich.

Good spot, asked around, got a drive to Prague really quickly

Not that much traffic but enough that you can approach somebody new every few minutes. Got a ride directly into Prague. Also met some nice hitchhikers here.

Got a ride to just after the exit to the right. Was trying to go to Prague so this improved our chances quite a lot

Going towards Prague. Very good spot to catch trucks or cars going in the direction of Prague or further. A little bit annoying to reach though. I went up the slope next to the highways bridge to the west of the service station and walked on the outside of the barrier next to the highway for about 500 metres. Got a ride with a Moldovan truck driver who was going all the way to Ireland!

Good spot to get out of Prague. Got a ride to Tabor

Most cars are local, going towards Prague. Here and there are some cars going to Austria.

perfect spot for prague, full of space to spot and a lot of traffic (saturday morning in august) fully recommend it good luck😌
