maybe not best to get to this spot too late because some of the people i talked to stopped here to sleep. but i successfully got a ride to copenhagen city center!

Super good spot. Got 3 offers and took me 15min to get a ride to Copenhagen. There is a McD close by

Official hitchhiking spot. The best place to leave Copenhagen to go west. I use this every time and never wait over 5 minuts.

Had a KBH sign and got instantly picked up by aomeone going to copenhagen on theur morning commute.

Good park8ng spot for pulling over before the rpundabout. Plenty of traffic a lot of it going north to copenhagen.

The only gasstation before swedish borders. We were lucky to get a german dude going all the way to Copenhagen! Good spot overall, a lot of cars:)

Pretty short ride, everyone went to Copenhagen instead of Germany, where we wanted to go. When the car stops for you I recommend asking them if it would be okay to take you at least to rastplatz in Kolding, from there it's only straight to Germanyyy

I would just aim for Copenhagen; the traffic at this gas station going further north is pretty low. If you need to sleep here, there is an overpass, where it feels pretty safe. I was here early, and the traffic was low, but maybe you can find a better car from here.

Going north, this spot doesn't feel so great, but it worked for me. I was looking for a car, taking the ferry when two guys pulled in, looked at the ferry prices, and decided to take the bridge all the way to Copenhagen. If going to Denmark, I would advise taking the A7 rather than the A1.

Great place for getting across the bridge to Denmark. Lots of Danish, German and Dutch cars. We asked around at the gas station and were quickly offered a ride to Copenhagen by a Czech couple.

Best stop for Copenhagen, many people there bcs it’a very nice gas station, and there aren’t many of them on this highway. I smoked a cig and in 10 minutes got picked up all the way to city center. Really good place

Got very early, 1 hour before. Lot of heavy traffic to begin with so waited for “nothing”, but then got a car quite quickly. The guy was very nice and drove me all the way to Copenhagen while recommending me different spots.

Got a lift all the way to Copenhagen. Good mix of local and international traffic. We got a lift by asking around based on the license plates.

Tried to get to Copenhagen and got a lift to A1 where we got a ride all the way. A lot of cars but mostly local traffic, however there were quite a few international traffic. There is a bus stop that the cars can pull over at.

Have to agree with the previous comments, even though it’s technically illegal, as it’s right behind the motorway sign, it’s the best spot to hitchhike south/east from Velje, as almost all traffic to Copenhagen/Germany will be going through here

Wanted a ride to Kolin, guy took me to Velje and told me it’s better to get to Copenhagen. Very much local traffic, but should be possible to get a ride to Kolin quickly

Was going to Copenhagen, had a sign with CPH. (KBH would have been smarter I think) Stood at the exit of the parking lot and got picked up quickly by a Finnish family on holiday. There's also free toilet here and maybe even free shower, I didn't check if it cost anything but it looked pretty free to me. On a Friday morning in summer there was lots of traffic, also Germans.

perfect spot for naesvede (and also copenhagen maybe), i got taken in 1min just after the red light cars are coming from both sides and can stop on the bicyle road i really recommend it it’s 100% better than the others spot (cars are getting too fast and not that much of space to stop) wish u good luck😌
