Small, not great looking dirt layby with good visibility and traffic slowed by the roundabout. Had to climb over a ditch to reach it, but the 5th car stopped and took me to vejle, perfect english speakers. Thumbs only. Takk Denmark!rating: 5/5, wait: 2 min 👍, ride: 32 km →

tricky place. Not very good when east-bound for copenhagen/Sealand (as I was), but I suspect it is good when north-bound for Århus/Norway (via Hirtshals). I turned down to offers going north and in the end I accepted one going north to Vejle, and hitched back south-east wards. I you get stuck here eastbound that is a possibility.rating: 4/5, wait: 60 min

I tried to hitchhike here when coming from Vejle to Odense. Note that the right spot to hitchhike in here is a place where the cars can stop which is between this roundabout and the ramp that gives access to the Motorvej. Foreigners as me might get a bit confused, that's why I'm putting this note, but you may see that the roundabout isn't a safe place for them to stop and what I call "ramp" has signs saying "100km" so the cars are going quite fast in there, there's not much space for them to stop and it's also a curve :PAnyways, I tried over an hour hitchhiking here, until I gave up. It was a Monday afternoon at it was a holiday. After I gave up, I hitchhiked towards the city center to try hitchhiking at the other spot marked here on hitchwiki (at the crossing of Fynsvej with Lyshøj Alle). There I waited less than 5min until I was picked up and driven all the way to my doorstep in Odense.
So, I'd say, don't insist much if you're not been lucky here: hitchhike towards the city center and try that other spot.

We went to Vejle and somebody stopped instantly. Here is a traffic lamp, but stop with car is not too easy, haven't parking zone or something, so just carefull―Anonymous, October 2013

A fair place to go on north, west or east as cars and trucks go on towards Vejle/Aarhus, Esbjerg or Odense/Copenhagen. Not a lot of traffic coming through though.―Anonymous, August 2013

On the Ny Esbjergvej a lot of traffic from a big shoppingcenter is going to the highway, mainly north but also south. Hitched with a truck to DTC north of Vejle. There is plenty of space for a car or truck to stop at the side of the road, the vehicles are slowing down for the roundabout and have loads of time to see you.―Anonymous, August 2013

good place if you are going to horsens or vejle. but only go if the car is taking you all the way because there are no good spots between.rating: 4/5

So far, I've only used it once. It took me 10-15 minutes before a truck pulled over. Recommended if heading south (Vejle, Germany or Copenhagen). A sign towards Vejle was helpful.rating: 4/5
