15 minutes wait and than some guy take me to Tampere

Tried other spots of Tampere trying to go to Helsinki but no luck after like 2 hours. Idk if it was luck but I just feel like this was the best spot since we got it almost instantly. Tampere road infrastructure is hellish so I think this might be one of the more coherent places to get south.

Most drivers go either long way south or north so potentially a good place. Me and my friend ate lunch on the bench of the ABC outside and asked drivers for a ride(granted we are finnish so that probably helped tremendously with trust and shit) eventually two Toni's took us to Tampere. 5/5 loved the place

totally agree, perfect spot to helsinki from tampere lots of cars and plenty of space to stop place yourself before the bus station good luck then :) (kebab in the other way is really good btw)

Only waited 10 minutes, but didn’t get any rides. Took the bus to Tampere city center.

Stood with sign, 3 Arab guys took me direct to Tampere

"Tampere 140" sign. Little traffic, but slower and safer than highway. I got a ride until Korpilahti while heading to Tampere.

Bus stop is okay to dorection of Tampere, the cars lower the speed as there is a speed camera over the hill just before the bus stop. Got a direct car to Tampere from here.

Used sign "Tampere" Got a ride straight there in 15 minutes.

A big bus stop right after the intersection, good visibility and an old gas station next to it. Got a ride to Jämsä from a driver heading to Tampere while I was heading to Helsinki.

An amazing hitchiking spot, the best one from Tampere to Turku I've found! We stopped by along the road to eat.

Good space for cars to stop, and nice starting point towards Turku area. Easy to reach with Tampere local busses.

Great spot for the Tampere direction. A lot of cars going from nearby gas station, a lot of space to stop and slow cars.
