The spot was good with plenty of cars leaving Angers and room to stop. But I don't know if it works for long distance, since the driver offered to drop me at the Bauné area few kilometers away on the highway and just before the highways A11 and A85 split.

Solo without a sign on a sunday morning. Got a ride to Ancenis, but the driver was going to Angers. It's the best place to go to Angers, but not sure for further.

Spot parfait pour Angers ! Quasiment tout le monde y vas, les voitures ne vont pas trop vite car sortie de rond point et il y a de la place pour s'arrêter. Il y a à peu près tout le temps des voitures car étant sur l'axe Rennes - Angers.

Best spot to go to Angers from Cholet. People have space to stop and all so it's good. The only problem is that you will most likely arrive at the center of the city but it's not too bad to access other spots from there (at least the one going to Le Mans is really easy to go).

Here is the place to hitchhack towards Nantes if you come from Limoges at least. The last entry before it separates Nantes/Angers Take every ride in the direction of Nantes, because after you've left Poitiers, the road is straight to Nantes, with nice roudabouts to hitchhack (until Cholet)

The classic place from Nantes to go to Paris/Angers From here you certainly will arrive in Ancenis on Angers, could be through the highway or the national road It always workt OK for me but i never tried the spots further on this road (this is the road you must hitchhack on to go to Angers, no other good choice) It's not the dream spot, people can go to the commercial center, on in the ring, but there is enough space to park

Best place of France to hitchhack. Always a lot of hitchackers but they disappear before you can say hello, so easy to go to rennes (a bit too much of cars at rush hours). If you want to go to Angers, Vannes or St Nazaire, this is not the right spot (i'm from Nantes)
