According the man who dropped us off, an Antibes local, this is the best spot for getting out. The stream of cars is constant, and we barely had to wait five minutes with our βNiceβ sign for a man in a van to pull up and offer a ride, he even gave us a free Nice tram pass, before dropping us off at the tram stop, and telling us exactly what stop to get off at for the old town (T2 to Port Lympia)rating: 5/5, wait: 5 min πͺ§, ride: 16 km β

Zero traffic, an absolutely dead service station, with very grumpy security to boot, who clearly have zero knowledge about Frances hitching laws. We thought weβd be sleeping here until an absolutely lovely doctor in a sports car offered to take us to Antibes, an absolute no brainer of a yes! To boot, he even dropped us at an excellent spot to leave Antibes which is definitely a win! The sign here simply read βNiceβrating: 2/5, wait: 20 min πͺ§, ride: 71 km β

Heading for Italy. Everyone had full cars od didnt want to take us. Good place to sleep though. But we had no luck and took a bus to the peage in Antibes where we got luckier. I would try this spot again. I think we just had bad luck.rating: 3/5, wait: 300 min π¬+πͺ§

Very good place to hitch-hike just before traffic lights, I had a sign with "A8", a guy pick me up after 1 minute. He left me at the first gas station that's somewhere after Antibes. It's easy!βEmanuel, August 2013
