Get a ride to Dijon

Met a couple hitchhiking here. They were there for 45 minutes. I got lucky and they found a ride to Dijon and I could join.

Two young people (one woman one man) going north, trying to get a ride to Dijon or Strasbourg. After standing a while, we started asking people directly who stopped at the red light. Unfortunately, everybody was going either to Paris or Clermont-Ferrand. Ended up getting a ride to Lille instead.

Got here late afternoon. We couldn't get a ride, so we decided to spend the night here, in the cornfield. In the morning we stopped a guy going to western France. He took us south of Dijon

there is space to pull over after the sign but many drivers cant see it until they get off the roundabout. possible drivers to stop in the roundabout though, but theyd have to really want to because its a bit risky. we waited an hour with a sign for dijon, but got a lift when we switched to one saying A36. if you want to hitch from here bring a sign for Montbelliard or Besançon. traffic was good around mid day, you could probably get a lift really quickly during peak commuter hours.

Enough space to stop (even for a truck). The truck driver took me to Dijon. Reasonable amount of cars using this road.

Got a ride really quickly, safe spot, perfect to go to the north - A6 Dijon Paris. The guy took me to the 1st service station

After 5 min got a ride to Lyon. My friend dropped me here after staying in Dijon.

Going to Dijon. Took 5 minutes with a sign. Lots of space for cars to stop and they don't go fast

Some guy picked me up bringing me 5 minutes further. Used a sign Dijon. There's place for the cars to stop. Not the best route to Dijon but gets the job done

Not the best to get to Dijon Center. I used it before but I arrive there around 4-5 pm, the time people leave work. In the middle of the day this is a bad spot. This time I decided to walk to the roundabout.

Headed to Dijon, but not much luck here. Most people were taking longer breaks (it was also lunchtime) so I didn't ask around. I walked to the exit and eventually used a cardboard with Dijon/Beaune. Got picked up for Beaune. He was going to Lyon

Was asking around, but wasn't lucky. Many cars going Lyon or even Dijon but didn't want to take me. A couple approached me when I was resting and they took me to a service station before Dijon. They were headed for the alps

Went there early to reach Dijon in the middle of the week, only expensive cars who would't look at us or insult us. If you go here, as it's probably the best option to go west on A6 from Paris, ask people directly instead of sign or thumb

I did not even put my finger out, but a couple asked me to take me to Dijon 😍 absolutely 10/10

Terrible spot, we thought it would be good since cars from many directions and there was a place to stop but no. Hard place if you want to go directions of Dijon, could be better for Paris though

Great spot, even if it was really empty on this Saturday evening. There is a small door to access the station from the end of the street where the employees park their car. You can come here by train (there is a small train station nearby - but we didn't try as a friend drove us there from Dijon). However, it was late, we were thinking to leave the petrol station to take a train nearby when someone stopped and took us directly to Lyon.

Great spot, this petrol station is big, with a lot of trafic going through. We used a sign "Dijon" and got a ride straight to this city.

I tried to start there by 9 in the morning. I got a good ride to Dijon. but I was lucky. it is not a really high frequented service station. like okay. but I've seen better ones. anyways good spot, easy to arrive there by public transport from Lyon centre
