A guy took us to Grenoble even if he was going to St Jean de Maurienne. Anyway, Grenoble seems really easy to reach from that station.

Even if we had a sign to Chambéry - Grenoble, 4 people stopped and proposed us a ride to Annecy (which was the opposite way... Feel like people don't know their geography well over here) but the 5th car took us to a petrol station after Chambéry.

The guy who pick me up dropped me here because he was turning left but I had to go ovest. I suggest you to do the same in is your case. A lot of space, people here are chill and someone will pick you up fast. Btw is really cold. A guy brogjt me to Grenoble.

It was really hot when I was there and the parking lot is in the complete sun. Difficult to get further then Geneva as most cars are Swiss and don’t go further. Eventually I found someone who took me close to Grenoble.

Very good spot. Just stay before peage with a sign Lyon or Grenoble. There is a sign that forbids to walk on peage, but if you stay before it, it's very safe and legal.

People go fast at the exit but there is a lot of cars and enough place to stop. 2 cars stop in 5 minutes but the first didn't go to Grenoble, second car was perfect.

Sheltered, easy to go towards Grenoble.

Really good to go to Chambéry or even Grenoble (less frequent), but if you want to go to Albertville, you may go to secondary road at 5 min walking.

3 cars stopped in 5 mins! A lot of people also go to Vif, but its easy to find a ride directly to Grenoble

Perfect spot to reach Grenoble, Annecy or Chambery, we (two 23 boyz) waited less than 2 minutes there just with the thumb. We got a ride for L'Isle-D'abeau gas station. Two friends of us got the same ride 10 minutes after us with a sign A43.

Waited only 15 minute to find a car to Grenoble.

In general I wait 15-30 min there to go to Grenoble. Be careful in winter, there is less space here with the snow and no sun at all.

Parfait pour aller dans toutes les directions. Pour aller vers Grenoble, ne prenez pas des personnes qui s’arrêtent à chambéry. Attendez 5mn supplémentaires une voiture directe vers Grenoble, il y en a! Mieux vaut se mettre directement sur le péage qu’au niveau du parking. Le personnel est sympa.

A bus from central Grenoble goes here. Quick, short rides either towards Briançon or Gap, although the latter seem to be more frequent.

à chaque fois que j'ai fait du stop à ce spot, j'ai toujours réussi à partir de rennes. je recommande ce spot pour aller vers Paris et la dernière fois que j'ai fait du stop là-bas, on m'a emmenée directement à Grenoble.
