Two young people (one woman one man) going north, trying to get a ride to Dijon or Strasbourg. After standing a while, we started asking people directly who stopped at the red light. Unfortunately, everybody was going either to Paris or Clermont-Ferrand. Ended up getting a ride to Lille instead.

Lot of cars staying in the neighbourhoid, but also a lot that went up North. In 30 mins we found someone that took us (2 girls) to Lille.
Toilets were free.

spot très compliqué pour aller à lille, en semaine la plupart vont vers les petites villages (pourrait fonctionner en début de week-end ou le soir). si vous êtes bloqué la se mettre sur le terre plein et demander aux fenêtres des voitures au cédez le passage, si personne ne vous prend pour lille acceptez les petits villages ça avance quand même (je suis allé a hénin-beaumont après)

assez bon spot pour aller à lille, être particulièrement attentif aux camions/camionnettes ce sont eux qui y vont. j’ai été emmené jusqu’à lens à partir de ce spot (se placer à cote du feu rouge à côté de l’église, les voitures peuvent se garer juste derrière, ne pas se mettre au croisement)

Hitchhiked with my bike cause I was tired and couldn’t keep going. I think this isn’t a good spot, someone living at this spot saw me and we became friends, so one of his friends agreed to help me get to Lille with my bike

The door was not open, but you can follow the wall/fence until it ends, climb down a small hill towards the autoroute and then jump the (second, smaller) fence. Sounds more complicated than it ended up being, the fence is even a little bent down and there's trees to help. Lots of local cars but I still found people going through Lille to Mons within 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend this spot to get out of Paris to the North.

Free toilets (thank you, France) and a busy gas station with lots of traffic to Lille and Paris. Look out for cars with the numbers 75 for Paris proper or 91/92/93/94/95 for the suburbs. Found a ride to St-Denis in less than half an hour. Generally really helpful and friendly folks there.

We got dropped here due to miscommunication. Not a great spot but after a while we found someone who took us to lille. Try to avoid this spot. You can make it to the highway if you really want tho.
