we wanted to go in the direction of Reims and found a ride after more than 2 hours. There is a lot of traffic if you want to go to the UK, Calais or Lille but not a lot of people are going to the East.

Good place to be dropped from Lille. From there, every car heading to the highway south can drop you in aire de Phalempin

Personne n'a voulu nous prendre. Nous allions à Lille mais les gens montaient vers Bruges. L'air est en travaux en ce moment (octobre 2025) ce qui doit jouer sur l'affluence... Nous sommes parti de l'air pour rejoindre la N43

Pas énormément de passage mais on s'est fait emmené rapidement jusqu'à Lille

Trajet direct jusqu'à Lille ! Peu d'attente, beaucoup de passage mais qu'une seule personne ne s'est arrêté (beaucoup de hollandais et belges)

Very good spot. Got picked to Lille within 10 minutes. Perfect to stand in between the lanes.

Usually a good spot if you want to go to Valenciennes (everyone seemed to be going there) and further down to Paris. I wanted to go to Lille though and it took me a full 3 hours to find someone. I did find a right directly to my destination though, they even did a detour for me, so that was super sweet. It was pretty late at that point (I waited from 7 to 10 pm so I imagine that it was getting late might have toggled a little pity)

Stand a bit further, where the on and oframp split. There's a side rod there where drivers can pull in. Had a few offers for direction Brussels but I waited for a ride towards Lille and got it after 38 minutes.

Waited at the exit with a thumb up and after a few cars the first lady who stopped took me straight to Lille.

Lane to Lille and Motorway was blocked maybe not permanent?

Two young people (one woman one man) going north, trying to get a ride to Dijon or Strasbourg. After standing a while, we started asking people directly who stopped at the red light. Unfortunately, everybody was going either to Paris or Clermont-Ferrand. Ended up getting a ride to Lille instead.

Lot of cars staying in the neighbourhoid, but also a lot that went up North. In 30 mins we found someone that took us (2 girls) to Lille. Toilets were free.

super spot si vous habitez pas loin pour aller à lille, beaucoup de passage et de la place pour que les voitures s’arrêtent !

spot pas mal pour aller à lille qui fonctionne avec des appels aux voitures, se mettre sur la bande cyclade et avoir une pancarte

spot très compliqué pour aller à lille, en semaine la plupart vont vers les petites villages (pourrait fonctionner en début de week-end ou le soir). si vous êtes bloqué la se mettre sur le terre plein et demander aux fenêtres des voitures au cédez le passage, si personne ne vous prend pour lille acceptez les petits villages ça avance quand même (je suis allé a hénin-beaumont après)
