I was already in a car going to Mulhouse, but I had to get to Strasbourg. It was already late so the guy offered to stop at this station so I can quickly ask the few cars that were there. Sadly no one went to Strasbourg so I joined the man to Mulhouse train station

NO GAS STATION BEFORE MULHOUSE

I was there twice on my way to France. It´s very easy to get a ride in the right direction, so great Spot. Hitchhiking further into France I always got stuck up in Mulhouse, so maybe it´s worth trying over Basel or waiting fore someone who brings you to a gas station, not some roundabout near Mullhouse.

While on a pit stop on my way to Basel, scared of not being able to cross to France, decided to ask the two (french) cars next to me if they would give me a ride. One did to Mulhouse. This gas station did seem to have more French cars than others, so probably good for that (also lots of Swiss). Solo female.

Got here by accident. Absolutely terrible spot, I left it cause some nice lady told me nobody is driving from this spot to Mulhouse (just local traffic to do groceries in Intermarche).

Mostly Basel (those usually wouldn't stop) or Strasbourg. We had to refuse multiple cars, as we were trying to get to France near Mulhouse

was getting desperate so just asked for rides into mulhouse from people here. better than at the on slip to the motorway if going west, but mostly drivers going to germany or locals from the shoping centre.

great alternative to hitching from the border. we were a while standing on the on slip directly, but eventually we moved onto the road a little bit and one of the first french cars to pass stopped for us. theres good visibility and cars are already slowing down about to turn. at mid day on a weekday there was a decent amount of traffic, a lot of people in mulhouse commute to switzerland for work so you could catch a lot of french drivers going home after work around 5 or 6 potentially.

majority of people are not going to Bourg-en-Bresse, Mulhouse etc but we found one

I was on my way to Thann not far from Mulhouse when a women who worked in chamonix picked me up. Not far, but she took me to a better place to hitchhike.

I think it's a good spot, better than the one nearby (though the other is a bit safer) because you get traffic even from south. I'd recommend having a sign bc there are more directions cars go (i didn't have one🙃 ) but got a ride to Mulhouse!

Lots of traffic headed onto the A35 towards Mulhouse so great spot to get to there but maybe not for going far. Space for cars to stop after the roundabout.

Not a very good spot if you want to go far. Most people just going local. Was lucky to catch a ride to Mulhouse.

Horrid for Belfort, switched sign to Mulhouse and got a ride in under 3 minutes
