A lot of car stopping and a guy took me straight to Nantes

J'ai attendu 1h30 pour rejoindre Nantes, presque toute les voiture allaient direction la roche/yon ou les sables d'olonne

Hautement recommandé pour aller à Nantes Hautement déconseillé pour aller vers d’autres directions. On allait vers d’autres directions. Alïx et Mauve en craquage

Curiously, it is a very good spot! We thought at first it was a bit dangerous but many cars stopped to get to Vannes or Nantes or even further. They can pull out on the rught, we did hitchhike between the left hand side and the green stuff as well

Exit of the parking of the Mont Saint Michel. There is a STOP sign, so all cars actally stop here. I was holding a sign showing "Rennes / Nantes". Although it seemed to be the best spot ever, nobody would give me a ride. I guess it's because most visitors are families, so either they've got a full car, or they are not so keen on letting a stranger sit next to their children.

Not many cars, and not much space to stop. I consider myself very luck that I found a driver going to Nantes here. It seems like most people leaving from Mont Saint Michel are rather choosing the highway. I had a "3km" sign.

Asked a few people who stopped at this station and got a ride to Nantes directly. Not so much traffic there in my opinion but it’s still a good spot

J'ai refusé 3 gentilles voitures qui s'arrêtaient sur la départementale alors que je visais Nantes par l'autoroute. Une 4e voiture m'a emmené à Nantes directement. Mais en fait la départementale est très bien il y à même des spots officiels avec panneau de la mairie etc. Donc n'hésitez pas.

Nice spot for Nantes, i found a ride to Angers with the first car, but i stopped to Vigneux

Quite a good spot to leave Nantes towards Angers. Used it multiple times, never waited much. There is actually 3 place, my favorite is just after the roundabout because plenty of space for cars to stop but you can follow the road until under the bridge there is also room for cars to stop. I'm local so always ask family to drop me here!
