Pour aller à Pornic ou nantes c’est bien, grosse zone pour s’arreter en voiture

spent 30 minutes at this spot standing by the advert at the edge of the roundabout, got taken directly to Bordeaux. Not the best spot as drivers don't have much time to consider their decision, but should serve to take you south out of Nantes. We took the 4 to Bourdonniéres and walked there.

Walk over the bridge on the motorway, we held up a sign to Nantes by the petrol station and were picked up almost immediately

Crowded area, most people are heading toward Nantes, less go to Angers, few to Tours. We wanted to go to Tours. We settled for Angers after waiting for 5 min. Aire fréquentée, la plupart des gens vont à Nantes, un peu vers Angers, moins vers Tours. Direction Angers pour nous en 5 min.

Great spot to Nantes

Du passage avec des plaques de l'Est, Ouest, NL et BE. On a un peu attendu mais on s'est fait prendre en direct jusqu'à Nantes

Good spot to head to Nantes. This roundabout is special tho since there is 2 entries to the same highway and same direction. I guess both work

Si vous allez à Rennes, il vaut mieux prendre un direct car il n'y a pas beaucoup de monde entre Nantes et Rennes

First I stood closer to the gates where there's more space to pull over, but the Gendarmery told me to go in front of the highway sign (I guess, I don't speak French). It was still fine. Drivers will probably still stop right after the highway sign.. Used sign "Nantes".

Lots of space and cars go slow. 3 cars stop in less than 5 minutes but all went to Nantes en Rattier and I wanted to La Valette. It was monday, day of market, maybe it's more difficult an other day.

Coming from Nantes, I asked the previous driver to let me on the gas station where I went asking people. I just waited few minutes before I found a car going to Quimper.

It is forbidden to stay here (Cars only sign) but there is enough space to stop. Good to go to Nantes or further south.

Good spot to go to Nantes

We (20 y.o.) needed a ride to Nantes, waited on the side of the roundabout where cars can very easily stop securely. We got lucky and waited no more than two minutes to get a direct ride nantes.

Great if you’re going to Bordeaux or Poitier but never stop here on your way to Nantes. Nobody stops here.

spot superbe pour quitter nantes direction niort/bordeaux. fonctionne hyper rapidement et les voitures peuvent s’arrêter facilement ! (parfois de la concurrence entre les autostoppeurs)

spot pas terrible pour aller à nantes, il n’y a pas de places pour que les voitures s’arrêtent malgré beaucoup beaucoup de passages. ne pas se mettre sur le petit embranchement vers nantes mais plutôt au rond point au dessus (plus de passages donc plus de chances d’arrêt même si plus dangereux - cela a fonctionné pour moi il faut être très vif et être prêt à courir)
