My favorite rest stop in europe, extremely busy and you can be very ambitious with your rides. Bonus, there were some nice gypsies hanging around who were very talkative and gave me a soda.

Not ideal for stopping, 2 lanes merging to 1 lane. But a car stopped on right side anyway. I had a sign, driver was nice and dropped me of near dtreetcar Düsseldorf

Looks like a good spot to get out of the city. The highway entrances have no space for cars to stop, but here there is space next to the road. Traffic is going slow because of traffic lights. Lots of local cars. Also Köln, Düsseldorf and Neuss license plates. Somebody stopped for direction Dortmund, but not my direction. Tried with sign 'Neuss'. Took a break at the cafe around the corner for a coffee and toilet. And then with sign 'D' (Düsseldorf). Nice guy picked me up and drove to Neuss.

This spot would be good if not for one small thing. This is Greece, country famous for not being to hitchhiking friendly and we are very close to a Turkish border which is probably making hh here even harder. From positives there are 3 petrol stations here, place for car to stop and not too bad amount of traffic but litteraly no one stops. A lot of people were turning around here and showing me that and that's all from driver's reactions. Only car that stopped was police but fortunately they only checked my passport and wished me a good luck, I gave that spot 2 instead of 1 star only thanks to very nice staff of shell petrol station that bought me some snacks and water while I was WAITING, because of how shitty hh worked here I slept nearby this spot and then took a train to Aoexandropoli (fortunately it cost less than 5 euro) to try hitchhiking from there. My general advice is DON'T COME TO THIS PART OF GREECE IF YOU WANT TO HITCHHIKE, JUST DON'T, IT'S NOT WORTH IT

If you're heading to Palenque, it is worth putting yourself on the left side of the bump. Right lane seem to be more cars heading to Comitán. Got a ride from a pick-up after shooting at him "Rancho Nuevo". Nice guy positive about my trip !

Honestly one of the best spots I've been, super central in the city, lot's of traffic and roundabout is right there, so traffic is slow and nice. Tons of tourists going different directions, couple that picked me up were willing to take me all the way to Nürnberg. Use this spot when in Bled!

The luck that happen once in a while. Picked up almost immmediately by someone going super far. Nice convo, invited me for lunch and as sun sets when we reached Tehuantepec's isthm, he invited me to stay at his home for the night.

Outside of Juquila, almost no traffic. Lucky at sunset, I got a ride all the way to Puerto Escondido in the batea of a nice family. It took longer than expected, stuck behind horses on MEX-200, celebrating the Independence Day.

Hard experience probably because it was Independence Day. Tried inside the town first, but not very successful. Got approached by a weird guy who wanted me to give him my belongings. Tried my luck more to the exit of the city at the gas station. Finally got a ride from a man bringing back from Oaxaca fruits&veggies for his shop. Nice man who invited me in his house for lunch and to stay in town to party together.

Next to a gas station and enough room to stop. Classic nice bump. Got a cool ride with my first tlayuda offered st the end of it.

Super nice spot, many people stopped but they were going to nantes and around and not orleans, what i was trying. A worker from the station gave me free food and a piece of cardboard to signal better, and a girl from the netherlands came to talk with me for a while, she was lovely, sadly she wasn't going my way.

Nice vibe, many cars No long rides because it is far away from a motorway but along the coast we enjoyed very much!

We found only a short ride Sign: Italie Close to a tunesian bakery where we found nice breakfast and a Mc Donalds with a toilet for free!

Everybody went to nizza and we didn’t want to end up in the city So we refused all the rides The people where nice bud we didn’t managed to leave the place between 19:00 and 23 h So we slept in the tent (very possible) The station has a shower and a phone charging station. In the morning the police asked if we where okay (seemed that there where some robbings of hitchhikers in the past) They where very friendly and we found a ride 20 minutes later
