Watch out for fascists, one took us there from Osijek and he was fucking nuts. Most of the guys that stop take you to another smaller village. Somehow we met an nice guy and he took us like 30km, which was a lot that day :(

This spot sucks dick. As of September 2026 this highway towards Croatia is absolutely dead. One car in 3 minutes is passing. In the evening suddenly a nice croatian guy took us to Osijek were we slept. Without him we would be absolutely fucked and probably still there without a lift. Try the other roads!!! There is way more traffic and more locals use this towards Bosnia.

People are afraid ro take strangers. Most people juts ignore you. Asking at the gas station is also not helpful because they were unfriendly .However, I got a ride by a nice man in the end

I arrived a little late here around 6 pm, then was good movement of cars but less than in the morning or in the noon. I wait a little longer here, but some people offer go to Nice or aux Provence. Take a little longer to find my ride to Marseille, I recommend a good sing to show your destiny mine was little and not easy to read, but I found a nice guy who leave me exactly where I need to go in Marseille.

Perfect spot going out from Lyon to the South. I have the chance to go to the toilet take a coffee and I stay just in the gasoline area in the entrance to the parking area with my sign going to Marseille. There a Big car pick me up. the gay was super nice, was a slow ride but I could arrive to my next spot just 30 minutes from Marseille in the highway. I think was the perfect spot to find people going to the south.

A really good spot, I took public transport from Genève to the border in Ravières; from there I walked like 15 minutes or less (trust in google maps, the route will take to some fields but you will arrive in the border zone, next to some toilets and parking area). I stand next to the exchange store, is perfect because the cars pass by in low velocity and they can see you really good. A sing always helps to save time and make the right people stop. There, a car took me directly to Lyon and the driver, Thoma, was super nice he leave me in the next good spot in the highway to continue my journey to Marseille

Good spot. A bus stop wo a lot of soace to stop. And cars dont go too fast. Got a car coming back for me to pick up so that was nice. And the guy saw me at vilnius trying to hitchhike to here few days before and felt bad that he didnt pick me up and now picked a hitchhiker and it turned out to be a same person :DHDHDH

nice spot. good visibility. cars have to slow down before the toll gate. cars can stop easy. 5/5 spot. got a lucky ride in a cabrio through the evening sun bringing me on the meter exact to the spot i wanted to go.

okay spot. closer to the raundabout is probably nicer. there is a god spotto stop by in both places. mine got less visibility. even on a Sunday - with approximately one car every 3 minutes passing by i got luky and a nice ride.

Even late in the night got a ride to kaunas. But if i didnt speak lithuanian probably the guys would not have taken me. But took me so that was super nice.

Really nice MOP from here shoudl be very easy to go to suwalki or kaunas. Didnt want to wait for lithuanian cars so agreed to the ride to suwalki.

It was pretty late in the evening and i was very desperate to get a car going towards lomza. There is a gas station earbies but it was a bit dead there. So went to satnd at the exit but the shit part is that this exit is used both by lomza and warsaw people so you dont know how much traffic actually is going your way. But overall there is pretty nice place to stop. Some space but ofc have a sign. Alsoy desperation was so visible that i stoped a truck here. First time i got a truck not in the gas ststion so i wa svery happy because i really wanted to get to lithuania that day.

Really nice spot to go to Krakow. Almost everyone is going there. Also here there is already some city buses to krakow so it was a bit weird to hitchhike but yeah it worked. Slow speed and plenty space to stop

Really mice spot but dont accept any ride not going to rakusy because you will be stranded as i was. And it was not nice. I think its better to go from here towards poland not from spiska bela.

Ok spot. Traffic light and most of the traffic is going to kezmarok at least. Taxi stoped for me which was weird but he took me to kezmarok because he was returning from poprad where he took a person. Forst time hotchhiking a taxi nice :DDD

Busy gas station even late in the vening. I was trying to go to poland from here and didnt know which route should i take. Trough rzeszow or krakow but some nice guys where going to banska bystryca so i just decided going to poprad. More progress in the day because it didnt seem that anyone would go to poland at that time of the day. But in hindsight there would be maybe more polish traffic going to rzeszow but idk. I only tried krakow route.
