Really good spot to go the West and Rennes. A lot of cars are stopping here

Good spot to go Rennes with the A11 or Bordeaux with the A10. From Paris you have to take the train to Dourdan then a bus to Saint-Arnoult en Yvelines and walk like 20 minutes.

This spot is in between a bridge and a roundabout, there is space for cars to stop, but they tend to be too fast to stop. To go to Rennes, this might be a good spot, but I had a sign towards Paris, which is far away. I changed my spot and got lucky.

Nice place to be seen by many people who goes to Rennes. Enough place for park Access for hichicker by the "chemin de la justice" trought the bush

It is a great spot if you want to go towards the West (Avranches, Mt Saint Michel, Rennes...). There is a lot of space for cars to stop. People may take you to Bretteville-sur-Odon where there is a big roundabout and the begining of the road towards Rennes, you can go but the spot is more difficult (not so much room to stop) ! (I am a women of 24 yo, hitchhiked there alone maybe ten times and never waited more than 10 minutes)

Spot parfait pour Angers ! Quasiment tout le monde y vas, les voitures ne vont pas trop vite car sortie de rond point et il y a de la place pour s'arrêter. Il y a à peu près tout le temps des voitures car étant sur l'axe Rennes - Angers.

Bon spot pour Rennes ! Il y a beaucoupe de voitures qui y vont et il y a une peu de place pour s'arreter. Et si ca ne marche pas il y la station service juste à coté si jamais.

Tried to get a ride to Mont Saint-Michel as 2 guys, and after waiting 50 minutes, a French-Russian guy stopped and even though he lived somewhere between Rennes and Mont Saint-Michel, he took us directly to the gate at Mont Saint-Michel parking.

Wanted to go to Vannes through Rennes. Had a A10 panel, two people stopped but they were going in other directions

Objectif : Vannes - Paris. Sur mon panneau j’ai mis Rennes, vous avez aussi le choix de passer par Nantes. Ce spot est pratique car les voitures peuvent s’arrêter directement après et c’est une voie rapide juste après en direction de Nantes et de Rennes, donc cela augmente vos chances.

Did not get picked towards rennes Very low traffic

The spots from Rennes to Caen are not nice cause it goes directly from the ring to the highway But it works, for me it is the best place, the last entry before it splits, and the highway is free

Best place of France to hitchhack. Always a lot of hitchackers but they disappear before you can say hello, so easy to go to rennes (a bit too much of cars at rush hours). If you want to go to Angers, Vannes or St Nazaire, this is not the right spot (i'm from Nantes)

We walked from Paimpont to Merlin Tomb. We had to take the bus back to Rennes and the place was too far, so we waited at this crossroad and a men picked us up. He was very kind and available.
