Exit of the parking of the Mont Saint Michel. There is a STOP sign, so all cars actally stop here. I was holding a sign showing "Rennes / Nantes". Although it seemed to be the best spot ever, nobody would give me a ride. I guess it's because most visitors are families, so either they've got a full car, or they are not so keen on letting a stranger sit next to their children.

We wanted to go to Rennes but after around 30 minutes we realized that most cars are not taking this direction on that street. So we went directly on the exit, which is less good to pull over but there are slightly more cars. For Saint Brieuc it looks good.

Bon spot pour aller à Vannes et continuer vers Rennes. J'ai peu attendu, il y a bien la place pour s'arrêter

We were dropped at this spot Sunday afternoon by a frequent driver who told us he usually picks hitchhikers there, and added that all drivers going from Rennes to Paris drive through this spot. We were a group of 3 so lined up along the exit, used thumb and sign and got picked up relatively quickly to be taken to Paris!

We were picked up relatively fast within a few minutes and taken to Rennes! We were a group of 3 so lined up with a dozen meters between each leading to the spot where cars can pull over

To Rennes it's perfect, there's a parking just behind for cars to stop and good visibility and even without a sign it's obvious where you're going

On a Saturday at around dinner time there was some good traffic but mostly filled cars going to Angers. We got a ride to Rennes with 3 seats for us relatively quickly though! Everyone smiled at us and wished us luck :)

En plein cagnard, notre équipe de 3 a été prise super rapidement pour aller vers Le Mans! On aurait pu attendre plus longtemps pour sûrement avoir un trajet jusqu’à Rennes et nous rapprocher de notre destination finale Dinard. Tout le monde sur le rond point était super souriant et nous encourageait!
