Single male, No french. No where to cars to stop, all rich cars and all family cars, so no hope of stopping. Terrible little commune to get out of. And extremely hot. I ended up hiking to the train station and getting a train to Toulon. Good luck out there stalker!

Single male, no French. With a sign to Toulon but I mainly used my thumb. I was sooooo lucky to get a ride as I got dropped here unintentionally. It was a dry ass spot, not many cars passes and no proper place to stop. Luckily these two guys who were headed to La Ciotat took me. I asked them to drop me to the next Aire (Aire du Pas d'Ouillier) which you SHOULDN'T! Because this Aire is just a rest stop, no gas station no nothing. Just the most dry and hopeless spot ever (incredible view tho). Good luck out there stalker!

Single male, no French. With a sign to Toulon and Nice. tried this spot, cars cant stop properly so not a good choice. But there are not a lot choices in this part of the town. I tried to get the tolls, but caught by the officers and kicked out. Tried the upperroad on the bridge that connects to the highway, some people slow downed but they were locals going closer distances. Finally got back here again and found a ride. It was a little sketchy tho, guy didnt dropped me in the Aire I wanted him to drop me, instead he droppen me in a ramp from Aubagne to the highroad ( which he believed to be a better spot).

Two guys hitchhiking with a sign Nice and got ride to Toulon. We were hitchhiking little before roundabout after the bus stop. There is two lanes so some cars may drive past you even though they could give you ride. Same happened to us, but driver decided to circle back to us from the roundabout.

Good spot, ours friends got a ride in 15’ to Montpellier, we got a ride 15’ after, the guy was going to Toulon

recommend 200 meters before by place de la Gare du Sud, a place just after the crossing. a lot of traffic, car goes slow and plenty of place to stop. Waited 1 hour with sign Toulon.

Very good place to Marseiile or Toulon.

If you are going to Marseille, Toulon, Aix en Provence or Nice, put a cartoon with "Arles", then you will be on the direction :)

Pour sortir de Toulon vers saint tropez, saint Raphal. Pas beaucoup de frquentation. Accessible par un portail ct zone industrielle, pas besoin de s'aventurer sur l'autoroute.

Direction ITALIE ou CANNES - TOULON. Bretelle d'entre d'autoroute en sortie de rond-point. Trafic dense mais arrt difficile par manque de place.

Good spot for go to Nice or Toulon, lot of car and slowly trafic, thé car can stop easy.

You can walk to this roundabout from the airport. Got a ride to Toulon at 7 in the morning, after waiting 5 minutes. Had a sign with me.

After a swim at the Bandol beach, we continued our trip and got a ride in 10 minutes to Toulon.

from Toulon,there is a bus for 2 € to st. tropez. and also 2 euro from st tropez to st raphael

yes here i was standing without sign with my bare thumb jumping dancing and it took about 30 minutes direction toulon marseille etc not bad for a spot to get onto the motorway i think

Nowhere suitable for cars to stop anywhere around here. High traffic, but no stopping lanes. Very difficult to hitch east from Toulon

toll before the entrance of the highway, pretty good to go to Toulon
