Got taken directly to Toulouse, by two friend who were buying ciggies

Got almost immediatly taken by two argentinians going to Andorra, since i was going to Toulouse they redirected their way to help me go to l'hospitalet

Barely any traffic but lots of people willing to stop. Many going to Toulouse but I denied some of the rides there as I was going towards Andorra but I ended up going to Toulouse for the night.

Great space with lots of space to pull over when heading south. I had no sign so about 3 people pulled over who were going short distances before I got a ride to a town near Toulouse.

stood on the grassy shady wooded area on the side just after the toll booths. got a ride from the second car that passed all the way to paris. may have been luck, but most traffic is slow and there is a good place to stop, and this spot gets all traffic going on the A20 from toulouse. i recommend a big sign as it is wide toll booth and you may miss cars on the far side.

great spot, aire just after the peage, loads of traffic headed west towards toulouse.

not as much traffic as i hoped, still pretty good. got ride toward toulouse in under 60 min.

In august, not a lot of People going toward toulouse. Waited 20 min to have a ride to Tarbes. Good spot for bayonne.

I agréé there is no much space to stop and most pf people are going to Toulouse It would have been easy to go to Toulouse, 3 cars stopped, ans then i found germans who went to bilbao

Bien pour aller a Bordeaux, Mais impossible d'aller à Toulouse, on s'est fait ramener à Bordeaux pour chercher un autre spot pour Toulouse.

Perfect spot. Rest place in between the 2 sides of the highway (I've met an other hitchhiker who was going to Toulouse). The first person I've talked to in the parking brought me directly. Unfortunately he brought me in a bad spot in a gas station in Avenches.

No problem to find rides, was trying for Barcelona/Girona, a lot of people were going to Toulouse. Waited at the end of the station before the roundabout, but asking around should work well too.

Good spot to HH. Good traffic, at least 8 car/min. Quite an adventure to reach the gas station from Paris. Metro, RER, a bus and 45min walk in the sun but worth it. I climbed a 180cm wall to get into the station but there is some kind of hole in the metallic fence that can be used too. I waited 1h10 with my thumb and a sign to Orleans and Clermont Ferrand. There was a lot of family with full cars, foreigners (NL, B, D) and french. I got luck and found a car heading to Toulouse. I recommend wondering around and asking people I they will accept you in their car.
