I stood at the roundabout on the end. There was a lot of traffic. Had a sign saying Köln. Then a guy took me past it to a station in the direction of Frankfurt. Good spot. On the road just outside the gas station is also a good spot. The highway onramp seems to be useless.On a saturday night, the only people stopping for me were going back to Aachen. Eventually I took a ride back to the border, used the pedestrian bridge to change sides, and hitch hiked to Liege.

Took me two hours to find someone to go in the direction of Liège. To be fair, it was a bad time, Mid-November on a weekday when it was super foggy, but most people were just going to Aachen or North to the Netherlands or Antwerp. Tried to get a ride to Aachen, waited about 2 hours and gave up. Instead took a train.A lot of people travelling to Belgium.
For some reason today (15/08/24) isn't a day for hitchhiking. Had to wait a (very) long time for my other rides as well.
