Asked near the gas station and got a ride to Frankfurt within 15 minutes! Lot of traffic with license plates from Köln, Bonn, Frankfurt, Freiburg, etcetera. On the way a lot of Baustelles and traffic jams took 4 hours for ~200km, but got there!

Bad if you want to head west and not south towards Frankfurt.

Tried to go to Frankfurt for 2 hours. The people did not wven take us to Wiesbaden. Took a train in the end

Small village so people are nice and smile at you. Wanted to get past Frankfurt but just ended up being staken to Frankfurt.it

Idk if this is a best spot in the town but for sure you must go to this town if you are going west to Hungary or Oradea until the highway is not yet built. A lot of Hungarian license plates but finally a guy stoped for me who was going to Frankfurt. Sadly i was going to east slovakia so got off just after debrecen. Would have been really nice progress if i was going to germany. Really nice guy tho. Stood with oradea sign. Tho one trucker going the other direction shouted at me in some language and pounted to go more in the town or was trying to say that it was not the best spit but it worked in the end. But holy its a fucking long ride to Oradea form here trough all the villages

I would say this loco is okay. Not too much traffic. Maybe because it was a Sunday. Funny enough, I got a ride to Frankfurt because someone was going to church. Stood on the sidewalk positioned towards the exit of Frankfurt.

Not a great spot. I guess people who come here are doing short distances. I wanted to get to Frankfurt and had a sign but no luck. I changed it to Ost and after half n hour someone offered to take me towards the direction of Frankfurt because he was dropping his mom off the airport in Luxembourg and returning back home. Then he was nice and took me only about 40 mins outside the city of Frankfurt. If you can find another place to hitchhike avoid this place unless you have no choice.

Good spot to head west out of Halle. Good traffic and a bit of space for cars to pull over. Was waiting for about 10 minutes with a sign for Kassel, but given that I just wanted to go in the direction of Belgium, I decided to take a ride all the way to Frankfurt.

Perfect spot for Frankfurt - had a sign saying so but got lucky and was take straight to Würzburg. Did have to rough it outa night as if was pouring when I got there later in the evening tho

Good for rides to Frankfurt, Belgium and Netherlands, we could stop drivers going both from the gas station and mcdonalds, theres also a lot of people just resting and truck drivers. We waited for a long time tho.

Decent place for hitching out of Dresden towards the Czech border. A fair amount of CZ cars passing by. We were picked up by a couple going to Prague after about half an hour; they were not local (from Frankfurt), so it seems long-distance traffic passes through here. We stood at the bus station, where there is ample space for cars to stop. Traffic isn’t too fast thanks to the lights.

Thought it would be hard to get on the right highway past Frankfurt but it was quite easy. Just look out the for the right License plates.

Got a ride fast in the direction of Frankfurt

Stood with a sign saying Dresden. After a few minutes a guy came to us and offered to drive us to Frankfurt am mein. Also we slept here the night before, its good spot.

Took us a long time. A lot of traffic but most had their car full of stuff or people so they couldn't take us to the border or beyond. We were very lucky that a couple could take us all the way to Frankfurt, there we needed to go south and they were going east

Put frankfurt on our signs and got a ride from the 5th person we asked. Lot of people and a good place to go south. You can go through the woods and over the fence but it's less of a hassle to just start at the onramp a couple of km back.

Had a big sign with A3 Süd, got taken to a Raststätte close to Frankfurt by a very nice lady

ok spot towards Frankfurt. I've waited a bit long by askinga around and hitchike thumb up at the exit (what finally allowed me to find someone)
