Second Person we asked took us to Offenbach, wich is directly next ro Frankfurt where we wanted to go

I stood there for almost an hour with a sign saying Köln and Essen on Monday at 11. many cars passed by but the vibe was not great. Frankfurt is a banker city and the people gave me weird looks. However one van stopped after 20 minutes, they were going to Hannover though. After a while a guy driving to Bochum (city right next to Essen) took me along and we had a great ride :)

It was getting dark so I felt like my chances were getting pretty low. Quite some people ignored me when I came up to them, the vibe of the place doesn’t really help being there with a cardboard. I wanted to go to cologne but went to Frankfurt airport instead and stayed in the city for the night.

Really few people on a Sunday afternoon. I was also dropped here although the person said he would go to Frankfurt. I managed to ask someone to take me to the next station, he would have taken me to Frankfurt city but I stilled hoped to get further.

I had just come out of the previous car and wanted to orient myself when a person in a sports car asked me where I want to go. He took me until close to Frankfurt.

I did not wait long until a family in a van picked me up. I wanted to go to Frankfurt/cologne area but they took me along the way to Augsburg

A lot of people going to Frankfurt, also you can cross the highway via a bridge and go north

Pretty good to go south out of Frankfurt. There’s a lot of space for cars to stop right before the entrance to the gasstation. Stood there with a sign „Darmstadt“ and eventually someone took me there. Asking around the gasstation didn’t work for me here as most people stayed in Frankfurt

A great spot for the Frankfurt direction. There were plenty of trucks, and I got a ride almost immediately.

Perfect spot, so many people, got a lift past frankfurt! Ask around at the entry!

a lovely women dropped me off near Frankfurt. This spot is very great. Had a sign with me "FRANKFURT"

back on track after successfull battle of trying to get out of Frankfurt airport. great guy took us south near france border (shoutout Alfred from NY)

ok spot, direction Frankfurt, got a ride with a van

wonderful view, little windy here, we had a hope for A-81 south, didnt work, so we refused and continued direction Frankfurt, witch worked

after while lady and man took us, they went to Frankfurt, but we missed our south-west direction before Nürnberg due to lack of gas stations, so we were told to continue to Frankfurt, we decided to get drop at Würzburg with hope of sombody going left for A81 (bad idea, should go Frankfurt with them)

Great spot for going south. A lot of people were going to Frankfurt and we managed to get a ride to Nürnberg fairly easily

If you're going to the airport, great spot as people wait here to avoid paying the parking. A few people were also going to Bonn. If you're trying to go anywhere else (Frankfurt in our case), DO NOT come here and stay on the A3 if possible. We had to give up and start again the next morning from the airport

Waited quite a long time with the intention of going to Stuttgart or Frankfurt. Got picked up eventually going to Ulm. Would say its an okay spot.

My only objective was getting past Frankfurt. Many cars indeed go to the Flughafen

Sadly I got dropped here when I was told he would drop me to Frankfurt. I settled for a ride to the next gasstation as many cars where going east/west
