People here was in a shitty mood (bad vibes), and the cafeteria was shitty. But a lot of people drives by. Got a ride to Hamburg within 10 min.

a man and his son picked us both up in their minivan and drove us to Hamburg (via ferry), it was a very scenic drive, and it was fairly easy to flag down a car

Waited a bit longer than usual, since there's no gasstation, only place to rest, not many cars around and Danes felt too comfortable to stop for us lol. But then we asked a Syrian guy and he took us to Hamburg, so after all.. good?

A bit of dead gas station. We were in the morning there but very low traffic. But eventually we found a car going to Hamburg and he even took us to hornel kreisel because we wanted to go to berlin

Seemed like a perfect spot to go to luneburg but noone took us and then the guy stoped us who said he will take us to the next road where all the traffic from north hamburg goes to luneburg and then we will catch a car for sure. So we agreed and he didnt lie. We got a car in 5 mins there but we needed to walk for 15 mins more tho there

It was evening and suprisingly low traffic going to berlin. Liek eveyone were turning away on the next highway exit which is crazy. But eventually found a guy just sitting in a car and eating burger from mcdonalds and asked and he agreed because he was driving from ukraine border to denmark and would love company. And it was super nice for me because i was trying to go to hamburg

Many cars driving by, not many looking interested. We got a ride to Hamburg after 40 minutes standing with a sign before the traffic light.

Good spot at the end to thumb. Not too much traffic. Got a ride after 20min towards Hamburg.

Don’t think the spots too good, was the only one I could get dropped of at near Berlin tho, first driver I talked to was form my country and he took me to the big tankestelle on the way to Hamburg from Berlin, saying that’s a better way to hitchhike from Berlin.

Was looking for a ride 1:30-3:30am, overall 3 people came that were going to Germany or further, first 2 had full cars but 3rd guy took me to Hamburg

Worked asking around, but there is also a decent spot for sign. Big parking lot. We were just trying to go north and ended up with a ride all the way to Hamburg. A lot of people in the late afternoon/evening when we were there.

Great spot if you’re heading towards Hamburg. For Amsterdam, you might have to wait longer. But once you pass Hannover, there are more cars heading towards the Netherlands.

No fence, easy to get to from the Centre of Hamburg. Was hitchhiking at night, about 2-3am, 2nd car I asked picked me up

Solo 19M. There is A fence, no gate was open when I went there, so had to climb it, however if you’re agile it’s not hard. Started asking around at 21:00 and a couple took me in 30 mins to Hamburg.

Took a solid while, maybe I was unlucky. Got there at 2pm, left at 5pm. Was hopping to get straight to Hamburg and could only get a ride halfway there. Toilets cost 1€.

We two got a ride after around 50 Minutes near to Bald Oldesloe with a guy thats driving a Tesla to Hamburg.

we (2girls) needed a ride towards hamburg and got a ride to würzburg!! we waited for like 30 minutes. it’s right before the autobahn and people can stop at the bus station!

You have to wait a little but it's fully doable. I rejected fiew rides to Hamburg itself and went with driver who was going towards Bremen however during ride I found out that my driver was actually going towards the Netherlands so I decided to go there with him. At the spot itself there is nice forest for camping at night, you can access it by first crossing first fence using an open entrence for service road located in between two fences, then go litte bit north till you se place in which fence has been cutted. Then you are here, actually I would say that this spot is much better for sleeping than previous little bit up north of here and yes, thumbing at the exit works, you just need to be patient so if you are shy like me just stand there and somebody will stop

First I tried to get behind Hamburg towards Hanover but only people who stopped were going into Hamburg itself. After some waiting I decided to accept ride to another gas station little bit closer to Hamburg
