We where 2 men on the grass between the roads which lead at the hyway entrance. Some of the cars where going fast, despite on the other road they start from a traffic light where they can sea you easily. Found a kind man who took us to Hamburg. Recommand to go a little bit down on the road, where the cars go less fast. A sign is mandatory.

Wanted to go North. Waited with a sign at the entrance of gas station. On sunday, not many cars with double H on plate (Hamburgs cars). Lots of taxis and ubers from airport. A kind man drop us of few meters away, at the entrance of hyway 352, under the sign Hamburg.

Wanted to go North, to Hamburg. Lot of cars go east to Berlin. Decided to change spot. A young couple kindly drop us of near A352 at airport. Thx Assan who work at gas station for advices and help.

Pretty nice spot, hitchhiked as a couple and got lift pretty fast to Hamburg

It worked very good. We talked to some people and someone took us to Hamburg. Even over us a place to sleep if we wanted which we gladly accepted. It was a very nice experience!

This spot gets a lot of traffic (all cars getting on the Autobahn to Hamburg). We were 2 people with a sign for Hamburg. Several reviews recommended the spot 500m south, at the traffic light, but it is before the intersection and in consequence got a third of the traffic. We we switched to the present spot, we had more people waiving to us and we eventually found a ride (after 30 min at this spot).

Walked back and forth along the sidewalk with a sign while cars waited at the red light. Found a ride going to Hamburg within 10 minutes. Easter Friday, 14:00

Got a lift to Hamburg by the first people I asked.

Great spot to get into Multiple directions it seems like there are more people heading north then towards Hamburg or Kiel then towards Hannover. My first time hitchhiking ever was here and I got a ride heading to Kiel in 10 minutes.

Very low traffic volumes, probably better to jump off at the bigger raststatte Aalbek half an hour before if you need to go past hamburg.

I waited too long in a miserable snow storm in february, and only got two offers in this time, second on to hamburg which i took. not many people going far

Been here many times pretty good spot, going east towards Erfurt. Also great for going north direction Kassel/ Hamburg

Found a truck driver very quickly that brought me all the way to Hamburg! I was there somewhere in the afternoon on a weekday, I would say this is a great spot to be dropped at and find a ride

Getting to Hamburg is easy as pie. I was trying to go north at first which proved a bit harder. Not a very busy gas station.

It’s shortly before Hamburg, so unless you want to go there, don’t stop here. We wanted to go further south, and no one was going further than Hamburg

Perfect for Denmark, Hamburg, Lübeck and Puttgarden.

Quite hard to get to the spot from Bremen. first you take the bus and then you hope for the best (you have to check if the doors to highway next to the bridge are open). Got a ride to Hamburg pretty quick tho

A guy and a girl on a Tuesday morning with an arrow sign pointing to Hamburg/Kiel and a "HH" sign. This spot is good in theory, but there was only local traffic or people that ignored us. We also tried the other side of the road, further north, but it was also bad, even though there were more cars going to Hamburg.

A guy and a girl on a Monday evening with an arrow sign (in the direction of Hamburg). There is place for cars to stop, and traffic is dense and slow. A lot of local traffic though, but enough people going far as well.

A guy and a girl on a Monday evening with an arrow sign to get in the direction of Kiel and Hamburg. This is not the best spot, but I think it's bad enough for people to help you if you get here. We got a ride to Schuby (west of Schlewig) quickly.
