it's my new favourite spot to go from leipzig to berlin. you can go there by bus and walk a little. not super busy but more rewarding than thumbing at dölzig a little more northrating: 5/5, wait: 1 min 💬, ride: 123 km ↗

Surprisingly good spot. I was there in winter on a friday noon and there was a lot of traffic. Every minute a new car. It is easy to have overview there since nearly everyone just goes to the toilet and back to their car. Since there was so many cars it ight be even better than a petrol station for changing a car. There were both people going towards dresden and towards Leipzig.rating: 5/5, wait: 60 min, ride: 109 km ↑

This gas station has very little trafic. I spent 3 hours looking for a lift to A9 (leipzig). I did not get one. There were few people going in direction of Chemnitz and Poland. There were also few people going to Czech. But yeah it was generaly very little cars to ask. In the end i gave up on the spot and hitched on a regional road to A9.rating: 2/5, wait: 191 min

I asked around for an hour trying to go towards Dortmund, I got an offer to Munich and to Leipzig, and ended up driving with a truck for two hours to Magdeburg. Definitely a good spot to get out of Berlin. Good luck hitchhiking family!rating: 4/5, wait: 60 min 💬+🪧, ride: 134 km ←

Wonderfuk spot, I just waited at the intersection after the mcdonalds (asked them for cardbkard and a marker and they gave them to me) and just had a sign to leipzig, worked like a charmrating: 5/5, wait: 5 min 🪧, ride: 280 km ↑

It might me still a good spot but during the week there is not much traffic which is going far away. I gave up after 2h finding a lift towards Dresden (maybe better from Zwickau at the A4?), just saw a few heading to Hof/Bavaria or Leipzigrating: 3/5

Many people go towards Dresden, not Leipzig or Berlin. Still easily doable to find a lift, you can speak to drivers. I eventually found a truck driver who took me.rating: 4/5, wait: 45 min 💬+🪧, ride: 156 km ↑

I thought I could take the train from near here towards Leipzig. But there is no way to walk east over the highway bridge and towards west I fought my way through bushes along the road for 30min. Don't get stuck here, better ask someone to drop you off somewhere else. Not much traffic and directions of cars are very unpredictablerating: 2/5

Very bad spot!! Station is like a ghost station and it's very hard to get a ride in direction of Leipzig or Munich. Finally guy took me to the next station on the way but it was even worse than this one... All day lost trying to get a ride from here.. Germany is a very hard country for hitchhiking! Don't get mistaken by green dot's!rating: 1/5, wait: 240 min 💬+🪧, ride: 41 km ←

Very bad spot! Don't come here if you're going to Leipzig or Munich!! All the cars are going in direction of Hanover. If you ended up in this ghost station try asking people for a ride. Germans are afraid of hitchhikers. This is my last time hitchhiking in germany :( 1/10rating: 1/5, wait: 300 min 💬+🪧, ride: 385 km ↓

There is a lot of comments on this spot a few meters away about being a bad spot. Not sure if the petrol station is new here but that was a wonderfull spot with many cars going distances. After 10 minutes I got a ride to Leipzig which ended my damn misery down south with way too much waiting time in the January rain.rating: 5/5, wait: 10 min, ride: 426 km ↗

My driver passed the Gas station a couple km earlier so he dropped me off here. Last Rastplatz before Leipzig, but surprisingly quite a decent amount of cars stopped there and even a couple of trucks.rating: 4/5, wait: 20 min, ride: 394 km ↙
