Ĉi tio certe estas la plej ofte vizitita loko, kiun mi iam ajn trovis ĉi tie ĉe hitchmaps... haha. Mi jam uzis la ŝildon Leipzig/Dresden ĉi tie, kaj metalulo estis tiu, kiu kondukis min tien. Ni aŭskultis multan bonan muzikon.

Likely a good spot for Berlin and Leipzig, but I had little luck here going in the Chemnitz direction. It was one of the last hitches of my journey. I looked a bit desperate, but one elderly couple took mercy on me and took me in.

There is little traffic, (we were here on monday at 4pm), but it is worth the wait. People are going to Leipzig, Hanover or somewhere further west.

Waited with a sign for Berlin, Leipzig, Erfurt. There is space to pull in and lots of cars. Enjoy!

When i arrived a truck was there and upon asking took me straight to leipzig. To get to the spot i took the bus to Auchan and walked along the fence until i found a hole

I waited two hours but it was a low traffic day and eventually there was some works on the gas station. Definitely the best place to go west ! Got a ride to Leipzig. If you really want to go to Germany it's completely doable there's a lot of Germans. Actually more than Austrians haha. But you have to talk to them. I waited almost two hours at the exit of the gas station then I decided to talk directly to the gas station and I was offered also a ride by a bus driver for free to Graz at the same moment I asked Hungarian couple with a dutch plate, they were going at the North of Holland but we agree to let them drop me at Leipzig. The first car I approached took me all the way to Leipzig, look for German licence plates and they have Bundesrepublik on their plates.

quite big, many cars to talk to. but you need to walk back and forth a lot. somehow a lot of cars going to west Germany. We were a bit frustrated at some point. took us so much longer than expected to find someone to take us (2 male passing people) to berlin/Leipzig.

For some reason it took me much longer than expected to get a ride to Leipzig.

Some space to stop but only cars coming from the right will see you, and only those on one lane will be able to stop. Had a sign saying Leipzig, eventually changed for A4 tankstelle, after which I got a ride to Dresdner Tor very fast.

(Towards Poland) On a Friday morning in august, many cars going relatively slow, great visibility and space to stop. Most cars have German plates and are going to Berlin or Leipzig, but Poland is definitely possible.

Decent traffic and most cars are going to or towards Leipzig.

A lot of traffic towards Leipzig and Chemnitz.

We tried to get to Poland using the A38 to Leipzig, but the cars that stopped all wanted to go Northern so we decided to take a lift to Braunschweig and then head Eastern

Waited 20-30 min, got a ride past Leipzig to another gas station.

Only good spot we found to hitchhiked East out of Dortmund. We waited about an hour and a half and got a ride all the way to Leipzig.

Got a ride to Leipzig fast. Theres some place for cars to stop but not alot and not legal. Worked much better for us than the truck stop. Our ride invited us to join him at a post punk club!

Really bad place to get to Leipzig. We recommend the highway exit instead close to here. Ut went much faster.
