Great Spot to hitch a ride towards munich, Switzerland or Innsbruck. I managed to get a ride quite deep into Italy :)

seemed like a good spot to start towards Vienna, since you can adress people directly at the gas station and cars are slowed down due to road restrictions, but even though its connected to A94, most people passing by are staying in munich. But in the end we (2 guys) got lucky, so the spot itself is quite good.

First, we tried a sign saying MUNICH, after two hours it started raining and still nothing. Then we tried a sign with LINZ, again two hours and nothing. Finally, we tried just VIENNA with a thumbs up—still nothing. In the end, we took a RegioJet bus to Vienna and from there we hitchhiked overnight to Munich. For us, it was a very bad spot, but give it a try and see for yourself :)

Don't try to go west. No one goes to the west and no one goes to munich. Had to take the S-Bahn to munich. Might be a good spot to the south and especially towards Austria though

That's how the classic hitchhiking spot should look like - cars going slow, there is plenty of space to stop and you are visible from a far. I got there on Wednesday evening and got a ride to Andorf (small town in north Austria) with a driver who was going to Munich eventually.

Just went to the gas station. We (2 guys) didn’t even have to take our sign out, we got a ride to Munich with the 3rd car we asked. I guess quite lucky, but the spot looks really good anyways.

Hard to find people going to A9 or Czech republic. But we found a guy who took us all the way to Prague. So I guess it was worth the wait :) But maybe consider taking a ride on to the A8 if you want to continue north/East A lot of people going to Munich and Austria though

Waited for 2 hours with some cars being unable to take us because we were with 3 people. Originally the plan was ulm or Munich. The amazing guy that eventually picked us up went to Lindau via ulm. Lindau is a village on lake Constance, the biggest lake in Germany and we decided to go along.

Had a Munich sign, but changed that to Lindau B31, not many people entering the highway in direction Munich

High Traffic Area, T intersection. Was able to get two rides in the same location within 30 mins. Holding a sign "Ulm/Stuttgart." 1st ride had to return me to the spot because they got a work call forcing them back to Munich. 2nd ride drove me to a high way gas station closer to Ulm.

Actually this place is dope. I just had trouble finding a lift directly to Munich. I denied 7 or 8 cars for Ulm or Augsburg.

If you stand on the lane for the bus youll have the best spot in kufstein for munich

pretty shit in our opinion. looks like a lot of cars passing, but almost none can see u. Make sure u have a big sign. Otherwise impossible. We were 2 people and split up, one person stayed here and one person tried talking to people at the lights before the entry (see map for other spot). Someone took us, because they saw us 2 times. A lot of Munich cars.

Great spot! 15min wait with a Munich sign, and a couple picked me up, giving me a ride all the way to Landsberg. Traffic goes in multiple directions, and many telling me they were heading to Austria

Got picked up by a lovely lady going to Innsbruck, got all the way to Munich, very nice Stayed at the exit at 7:30 AM

great spot for visibility, many truckers pass but no success with salzburg sign. after waiting 3 hours decided to just go to munich with 3 young guys who stopped.
