Waited for 1h30, and finaly took the bus to Bremen Hauptbahnhof. Standed with a sign/Direction Osnabrück/A lot of traffic and firelamps but the cars didn't stop even if there was place to park. Bad day for us.

Lots of holiday traffic in october. But got a lift to Wuppertal very quick by asking around the restaurant. Also waited more than an hour before here for a further lift in direction Osnabrück.

Lots of traffic here but a fast road. Few people go to the petrol station. A guy with his family brought me to Osnabrück. I've first tried with Munster or Niederlande signs and it did not work out.

Hard to find a lift to Germany, since most of the cars went into Oldenzaal. But got a lift to Osnabrück after asking around for about an hour and a half.

About every 20 min. there would be somebody stopping. But all went towards Oldenburg or Osnabrück. We (2 guys) were trying to get to Lüneburg. No success… Cars were coming pretty often but it doesn't seem to be a good spot for hitching. Cars to Lüneburg probably rather go down the A7. Or maybe walking in the city and trying at the Bundesstraße B75 which also crosses the river Elbe and is pretty close would've been better?

I arrived here when it was getting dark and was giving up hope to arrive to Osnabrück. Luckily I found someone and he went out of his way to bring me to Osnabrück.

Tiny gasstation little traffic and many going north to Hannover/Gottingen. I had to go to Osnabrück. I did get offered a ride to Berlin tho.

Got a ride to Kassel. Don't take this road if you want to go to Osnabrück, as I was, Dortmund route is better I guess.

Okay spot, but not very great. Best to ask around, I stood at the end of both ways to catch all the cars leaving the spot. Got a ride that went to Hamburg but I got off before Osnabrück

The waiting time was over two hours because many cars were full, but I managed to get a 150 km ride to an Osnabrück gas station.

OK spot. Very likely to catch traffic in direction of Osnabrück. Although there is also much local traffic

Decent spot if you want to go in direction of Osnabrück (with one stop in between for us)

Got offered a ride to Osnabrück almost immediately, but we had to wait for the car to be charged. In the meantime, we found a ride all the way to Hamburg. Good spot for travelling far into Germany!

not a whole lot of traffic tuesday evening and not much place to stop in either. still good for osnabrück/netherlands direction

After waiting 30min for a hitch to Osnabrück it tooked me 5min to get one in the direction of Oldenburg.

it's not worth trying, all traffic is for the city, tried other spots nearby too but didn't work. (it was dark already which definitely didn't help) ended up asking someone to take me to the bus stop "Osnabrück, Kurt-Schumacher-Damm"

i agree with karo, it really is not that good as it (probably) used to be. easy to get there from Berlin: Michendorf bahnhof, then 30 mins on foot. on a monday morning after waiting for 4 hours i got a ride to Osnabrück

Highway service stations are always good, didn't take me long to get to the service station after Osnabrück, and from there to Köln. Possible to walk through from the nearby village, but it's a little far.

We liked that place a lot. Wee took train+bus from Osnabrück Main Station to Lengerich Abzw. Tecklenburg, from there it was a 10 Minutes Walk. We got a lift to Duisborg after 15 minutes, without using a sign.
