early morning took a bit but ended up getting a lift past würzburg and ulm, lots of people going nürnberg munich, someone even to Graz

the people who gave me a lift were going to würzburg, lots going south

Perfect spot for Frankfurt - had a sign saying so but got lucky and was take straight to Würzburg. Did have to rough it outa night as if was pouring when I got there later in the evening tho

I took the train to weiskirchen and walked to this stop due to its great ratings. And it lived up to it. I was there on a Tuesday around midday and only asked maybe 6 people until I found a person with an Austrian plate (I tried to go to Vienna) and the person was heading to Nürnberg and dropped me off at a gas station before entering the city. There was quite a few people from the Netherlands who also drove to Austria but didn’t have any space left. One person also offered to take me to Würzburg. If I’m in the area I will definitely come back to this spot to cover greater distances.

Tried to Go North from here by asking for A7 in the northern direction. A few close calls but Manager to hitch a Ride to Knetzgau from here. Great for going to Würzburg and Nürnberg on that day. A lot of local Traffic though. Decent Spot. Friendly people

Of course NOT a good place. Not a lot of cars are stopping there. I was lookin to find a guy untill Würzburg. I advice me to search for "serways" in germany in order to find more people

I had to slept there in hammock after 1h30 of trying at different spot of the station. Nobody is going to Nürnberg there. After 40 min on the morning I've finally change my direction to Würzburg and then coming back to Nürnberg (but hard, should go to Nürnberg before at the south). However if you want to go to north or west, that's pretty ok I think.

Found a ride to Koblenz. Wanted to go to Würzburg, that was not easy.

we (2girls) needed a ride towards hamburg and got a ride to würzburg!! we waited for like 30 minutes. it’s right before the autobahn and people can stop at the bus station!

after while lady and man took us, they went to Frankfurt, but we missed our south-west direction before Nürnberg due to lack of gas stations, so we were told to continue to Frankfurt, we decided to get drop at Würzburg with hope of sombody going left for A81 (bad idea, should go Frankfurt with them)

Asked a funny looking guy. He took me to Würzburg

Asked people if they go south and Olaf took me to Würzburg. 4/5 because it's a little less traffic

Avoid ! Really shit station to get even to Würzburg, waiting 24h

Lots of families around 16:00 on a summer Friday, but quickly found a nice couple traversing Germany who took me around Frankfurt about halfway to Würzburg.

Was dropped off by a truck driver who was heading towards Köln. There is a bus station but not too much traffic. But you an also take the bus to Würzburg so not a bad place to get dropped of when the driver is going further on the a3 and Würzburg is your destination.

Got picked up by a truck driver within 20 min. He was driving to Köln and dropped me of near Würzburg because this was my destination.

There is a decent amount of people stopping for gas/food. It's a tad easier to find someone towards Frankfurt, but continuing on the A7 is also fine. Found a ride to Würzburg within 1h

A lot of peaple are going to Würzburg, so it's a good spot for a long-distance journey. Waiting time around 15 min, if you want to go to Coburg (A73) it's less
