Great place to go to either Limerick city, M18 Ennis/Galway or M7 Dublin. A sign might help because drivers might be going in any one of the 3 directions. Its almost the last stop before the motorway starts.―Darach, September 2015

It's on the motorway under a bridge so you have a dry place if it's raining. Traffic toward Cork, Limerick etc. It was easy to get a lift.―Anonymous, September 2014

There's a small bay normally for roadworks but a car can stop there. You can get the bus 13 from the city close to here and the traffic from this lane goes to Cork, Limerick etc.Otherwise it's pretty difficult around the motorway.

Spot for Galway or Limerick, in walking distance from the airport terminal. If somebody offers you a lift just to the N18 dual carriegeway go for it. You can easily hitch on the junction's sliproads.rating: 4/5

For Limerick and the South West. There is alot of local traffic so it could be wise to put "Mountrath" on your sign as this town nearby has many service stations.rating: 4/5
