Spot itself is not bad, there’s two gas stations and room for people to stop. But at that moment I was there there weren’t many people heading very far. Luckily a guy offered to take me to the roundabout in Wexford and from there I can easily get a ride across to Waterford or further. He was kind enough to even buy me fruits and a sandwich for the road.rating: 3/5, wait: 20 min 👍, ride: 40 km ↓

Just ask for Wexford - Waterford is too ambitious if you don't want to be waiting for hours―Anonymous, July 2014

The only way to get towards Dublin or Waterford. Bring a sign, it's right before a big un-hitch-able junction!―Anonymous, March 2014

Going to Waterford, once you passed the ring road roundabout, anywhere past Springhill Hotel is good but a little further on nearer to the Rugby Club is perfect for cars to pull in.Only waited 10 minutes when I stopped at the rugby clubrating: 5/5

I was dropped off at Kilmeaden as it attaches to the Cork Road. But i think the map is wrong here.Anyway, Going to Cork, I waited 5 minutes at the bus stop in the village before the Centra Shop. Its a busy road which i do believe the village is on the main Cork-Waterford Roadrating: 5/5

Ask around for lifts towards Dublin or Waterford at the two petrol stations that are here. Most traffic will at least head to the roundabout where the motorway to Dublin starts.rating: 4/5
