Good traffic, great shoulder. Got a ride from an Uber driver who passed me through a first time. He accepted to drive me all the way to Naples as he was getting there to get more rides. Nice man, open-minded with whom I had a great discussion over various subjects.

You can easily find lift for Naples, Potenza, Bari technically all southern italy. I was going to Pitenza and waited only few minutes

There is a good Esso Petrol Station, lots of people stopping, to Foggia very easy but you may find lifts also for Naples region or at least Candela, motorway entrance. I waited 4 hrs for that but anyway is Italy..;)

3 people waited 30 minutes for a ride North from here. From behind McDonalds at Naples central station take bus "Caserta" to Via Largo Rotunda. Walk back the direction the bus came two blocks and walk West to arrive at the petrol station.
