The point is this. Yhis all area is a shit area. I spent hours oround there searching for hope. My intent was to take the highway for torin but was very difficult. This spot was not signed but is the only good spot near by. If you are lucky you can meet someone who goes to milan or torin. A guy pick me up and drop me near Novara in a gas station. Best option considereting the bad area.

From Airport Milano Malpensa in direction of Novara: I was there on a Sunday morning and there was not a lot of traffic but a car stopped after 5 minutes for me.
There is space to stop for the cars and in general this place is okay.

i have not hitchhiked from this spot but you should be able to reach the "TUNNEL de FREJUS" from here (meaning: FRANCE). the petrolstation in the opposite eastbound direction (MILANO and NOVARA) has moved 500 meters eastward (this satellite image shows an older picture). on how to reach this station from TORINO please see my comment for a TAMOIL station 300 meters northwest of here. there is a lot of traffic (going westbound) at this spot.

i have not hitchhiked from here but it should be possible to reach MILANO or NOVARA from here. this petrolstation has recently moved 500 meters eastward to here (the satellite image shown is older than that). to reach this station from the TORINO city center please read my comment for another station 500 meter northwest of here. it should not take more than 40 minutes to reach this place from the city.
