You’re visable from 200/300 meters, there’s plenty room for the cars to stop, especially as they’re slowing down to enter the roundabout. Not enough space for the truckers, sadly. Some shade avaliable.On the other side of the roundabout (towards padua) theres a motel with what looks like another good spot, since it combines fraffic from all directions towards padua. Didn’t get a chance to try it out, because wuickly i found a pleasant ride to Padua centro.

Do not catch in this spot if you want to go to Trieste! We made this mistake and waited for an hour and a half until some friendly driver took us to a different spot. Many cars heading there actually go through Conegliano. Most people here go to Venice or Padua. Some people told us that it would be better for us to try to catch a ride on the other side of the road, but the pedestrian tunnel connecting the 2 stations was closed.rating: 1/5, wait: 90 min, ride: 12 km ↓

Great spot if you want to get to Venice or in direction of Slovakia/Austria. Likewise for Milan, Trident.Incredibly bad spot if you want to get to Bologna and further - we had to spend the night. In terms of sleeping: I recommend going through a gate and turning left, there’s some bush - we set up a tent and spent a night there without any problem, and we used the toilet at the gas station during the morning. Station’s staff was nice and they didn’t cause any problem.
But if you’re going to Bologna etc, I recommend catching any hike in direction of Milano / Padua and getting into the next autogrill (gas station) between Venice and Padua - Ristop |Arino Ovest. Amazing spot to catch a long ride and it’s not that far!

Noce spot, car can stop and you can go in pretty much all directions from here. Beware Bolognesi are not big fans of hitchhikers but somebody will eventually stop; I wanted to go to venice/padua, wrote a sign with padova/ ferrara A13 and it helped.rating: 3/5, wait: 35 min, ride: 50 km ↗
