Perfect spot, bus stop next to road. Cars can see you coming from trafic light. I used sign with Amsterdam.

Good spot towards Amsterdam. Harder to get towards Almere. Driver offered to drop me af in the right direction anyway.

Official hitchhiking spot only had to wait for 5 minutes with a sign (Destination Amsterdam)

nice gas station! At the dressing there are tables where you can eat and relax and if you stop in the summer can even sleep! We were thrown here at about 6 pm and by night we could not find the car, although we went to ask almost everyone, although in the morning (from 6 to 7) we were found to Dyorthmund. Most cars went to Amsterdam, some to Belgium. This is a good spot because everyone goes somewhere far away from Hanover's license plates. In general, the drivers of cars and trucks rest in the parking lot, many people can be asked

Stood somewhere else first for 3/4 hour, then a man reccomended this spot. Stood by the road and got pickud up quite quickly, bit hectic though so close to the road, so maybe a bit further is better. Straight to amsterdam though :))))

excellent point for amsterdam even when it's dark, easy to find a car, especially if to attract drivers' attention

I was there on a Saturday afternoon. Many people heading to Utrecht/Amsterdam bbut they were always full. But got a lift to Utrecht

probably the best spot to go from Rotterdam to Den Haag or Amsterdam. Waited maybe 25-35 min

Asked around, and some people were willing to help, but weren't going the right direction. After 20min found someone going direction of Amsterdam, who dropped me on a great resting spot/petrol station next to the highway there.

Dont know what to say about this spot .Hitchhikimg there to Amsterdam really difficult. Everybody is full and lots of them are going the opposite way.

Pretty quiet at 18 30 on a friday evening, most cars going to Ede, but in 10-15 mins we found a ride to Amsterdam

Relatively good spot to get to Eidam or Hoorn. Or on the other side to Amsterdam.

22 km before amsterdam. Easy to find a ride to the right area in amsterdam. To Haarlem, Alkmaar and Den Helder is possible too, but amsterdam is soeasy, it might be a good idea to wait for the perfect destination inside amsterdam

Got offered a ride to Amsterdam by a circus group heading to the same festival i was going!

Great spot if you need to go to (northern) leiden from the direction of Amsterdam. The exit of Leiden itself is a bad to spot to hitchhike and quite far from the city.

Really good location to get rides for amsterdam. Cars slow down or stop before traffic light. Better if you have a sign! Good luck :)

After the bad luck on the official spot in Amsterdam, here we did not even started hitchhiking and guy came asking where we are going and took us all the way behind Groningen. He was himself and experienced hitchhiker.
