Good for rides East, some Germans. A lot of people goi,g towards almelo, fewer to Arnhem

Usually a pretty good spot since people go all kinds of places. I asked around four 30mins until I found a ride to near Arnhem (the person was going to Zevenaar)

Very good spot to get out of Oberhausen onto A3 in the direction of Arnhem. There's a traffic light you can stand next to with a sign. Mine was super improvised and it still worked in like 5 minutes. Not super far but to Hünxe which I knew to be a good spot to continue. Was pretty late, so I might have been lucky with Feierabend traffic

Good amount of traffic goes by here. We asked around at the gas station and stood by the split with a sign where all the cars come through. Got a ride all the way to Arnhem with a dutchie.

My standard spot to leave, as i live next to it. Pretty fine, just use a sign with the highway number and direction. When going to Utrecht or Apeldoorn the 'carpoolplaats A12 Arnhem noord' is a great first step

Nice spot for getting a ride to Arnhem and further with huge space where even trucks can (and will) stop.

Tough place, cars drive too fast and it is not pleasant to stay here. Since there are traffic lights, this is no highway and you are allowed to hitch hike here, but police doesnt like it and you dont want the discussion. At the end it always works to go from here to Nijmegen. If you walk 500 meters direction Nijmegen (direction Arnhem soccer stadium) you do something that is not dangerous but illegale. Here you may find a place to repair your car or whatever, Some kind of refuge, easier to stop and safe to stop. I do prefer this over the roundabout…. On the other hand, the bridge on the roundabout is great for hitch hiking in the train

Good spot for going East towards Germany and Arnhem

Walking and hitchhiking here feels unwise and dangerous here, but it is legal I think (no highway). Police doesnt like it, but i never had issues with them here (they shouldnt see you crossing, I think). It is an unpleasant place I dont want to use to go to Apeldoorn or Utrecht. Sometimes I am here on my way to Nijmegen, it does work, I like the place under the bridge just before exit to Arnhem sounth and nijmegen

Good spot, there is a liftershalte 100 meters after the traffic lights, but this makes no sense. Sometimes I wait here too long like 45 minutes, but that is not a problem. To Arnhem Max 15 minutes wait.

Top notch spot to go direction Arnhem. Slow driving cars can easilly see you and and they have a perfect busstop to stop. It is a wonderful place! I have been Hitchhiking here more than 100 times.

It can be difficult to go from Arnhem to Nijmegen. Cars from Apeldoorn and Zwolle leave a50 to go to Nijmegen center. The go here, can easilly see you and stop. I have been Hitchhiking here a lot, never more than 30 minutes

Good visibility, but not a lot of traffic. Most drivers seem to go in the direction of Deventer. If you are trying to get to Arnhem, go to the next exit (24) and trying there, that worked for me.

Asked a lot of people at the gas station. Everyone went to Arnhem, up north the A12. We needed to go to Köln. I asked someone before at the gas station, we were walking towards the A12, when the person i spoke to earlier honked and said she could take us to Elten, Germany, we settled for the Shell just before the border to have the most options (7 minute ride), but anything helps.

We had got a message just before we got here. To go to Köln, Germany. We thought it was a good idea to be next to the A12 (South. Except everyone is going to Arnhem (North) or Dieren etc (East/A348). We settled for a 5 minute ride to Zevenaar to be on the A12.

We asked many people, but many went to Amersfoort or Harderwijk (A28). We needed to go to Arnhem (A50). We drove off after 40 minutes for a 50 minute drive to Arnhem. They asked us! Not something you see often. Lovely family.

Found out the gas station isn't reachable on foot so went to this bus stop instead. Got offered rides to "Duiven" and "Arnhem zuid" before accepting a ride to gas station "Kempke" on the A325.

Good place for going south (apeldoorn/arnhem). This traffic light on the ramp is gone. During rush hour the cars drive way too fast to stop here. Try to ask people at the trafficlight on the bridge

Great for cars to Utrecht or Arnhem

Got rides going to Nijmegen here twice. Also was offered rides going into Arnhem. At bus stop "Golflinks".
