A hitchhiker has been caught here by Google Streetview in August '25 with a sign RTM. R'dam is more common for Rotterdam.

Tooks us 7 minutes. We held a sign towards rotterdam even if we had to go to brussels but we managed to get a ride towards breda

Had A guy going to Rotterdam take me to Berlin, however I met him in the evening and he offered me to sleep in his van and go in the morning.

Not the best spot, but not the worst either, got a ride to rotterdam in abour 15 minutes, I probably got lucky tho, cause the Woman that took me is going to Breda and to rotterdam afterwards, dont know how many people go to rotterdam directly, but there is food and drinks, which is a huge plus if you have to wait longer than I had to.

Only waited for two minutes, sadly there was a miscommunication due to a language barrier, so instead of going all the way to Rotterdam I was just taken to Bergen Op Zoom. The spot still was amazing, but on weekends there are a lot of trucks stopping here so you have to walk further down to the highway. If you can, wait till you get a ride to the spot you want to go to, cause it does not get better than this!

Nice gas station and parking lot with good amount of traffic, i got a ride after 20 mins to rotterdam. Also a guy built his own house in the bushes, i gave him a euro and we talked and he offered me a sleeping place in case of emergency :D

really good spot for amsterdam! stays at the white signal just after rotterdam overcrossed with a sign/thumb ! work easily in 12am, there are plenty of cars and they have a lot of spaces to stop good luck😸😸

best spot ever to get to rotterdam!!! literally a blablabus stopped me to get there for free 😸 they’re a lot of cars, space to stop and u can be easily seen !! recommend it 100%

Spot is quite good, people going to McDonald's over the street and stopping by the gas pump and St1. Quite good amount of traffic and also trucks stopping for rest. I got asked instantly where I was heading and got a ride to Rotterdam. Might have been just lucky

Stood there for about 20 minutes. Many people heading to the Netherlands but often with packed cars. Saw someone I knew at the petrol station who gave me a ride to Rotterdam.

Weird start of the day, we were offered tons of rides but no one was going straight ahead to Brabant. Roermond, Utrecht, Rijkevoort, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and more. When we got another offer for Holland, I checked if A50 into A2 would make sense for our driver. Turns out, Brabant is only a 4 minute detour from this gas station to Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, etc.

Lots of traffic midday, great place for cars to pull over. We were offered rides to Oldenburg and after a few minutes only to Rotterdam with an NL sign!

We Were hitchhiking to the North on a Sunday morning. Incredibly we found someone after 50 min to Rotterdam all the way to our destination in the Netherlands.

A ride to Rotterdam would have talen me just 5 minutes, Utrecht was a bit harder, but also fine.

Nobody was going south so i got a ride into centre of Rotterdam to try somewhere else to get to Breda

Stood right in the corner between a main road and the turn to gas station. Heavy traffic, got picked up after 40 seconds (possibly luck xd). Real nice spot to Rotterdam.

probably the best spot to go from Rotterdam to Den Haag or Amsterdam. Waited maybe 25-35 min

Its probably not that good of a spot, but we got really lucky and second car we asked were on a way back home to France and they were willing to take us close to the exact place in Rotterdam we wanted to visit.

We asked around the parking lot and like 6th car driver was from Turkey driving truck with fish to Rotterdam so we waited with him until his pauze ended and then enjoyed great ride, singing and eat some turkish meals with him while driving to Neatherlans.

Great stop to leave Rotterdam, many cars stopped but heading all over the place. In the end we got ride to Nieuw-Vennep.
