Easy to Arnhem and Apeldoorn, not so good for Utrecht

Good spot for Utrecht since almost everyone travels in that direction

Before the recording of Lubach starts, the 250-person audience is allowed to ask questions. So, I asked for a ride towards Belgium and got one to a gas station near Utrecht. There were also people who offered a ride further, but I couldn't find them in the crowd.

Great spot towards the Netherlands. If you’re heading to Amsterdam, it’s best to get close to Utrecht – from there, you’ll get to Amsterdam easily.

Not ideal but walking here is quite easy aldo also little bit unpleasant and you can get from here to the big petrol station before Utrecht

Had a sign for utrecht. After 40 minutes only 1 car stopped and it was a taxi asking if i could pay him with favors instead of money. I can only guess what that means cause i said no haha. But it is a good spot; plenty of cars and plenty of room for them to stop, with a tram stop next to you if things dont work out. Also was lucky with a big cardboard dumpster next to the spot. Have fun

Stood on grass, space to pullover just before the highway sign. The second car which stopped was going to Utrecht! English worked.

Spot worked great after unsuccesfully waiting for ~1.5hrs at the spot recommended by the utrecht page (52.0802, 5.0870) Stood in front of the highway sign

Weird start of the day, we were offered tons of rides but no one was going straight ahead to Brabant. Roermond, Utrecht, Rijkevoort, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and more. When we got another offer for Holland, I checked if A50 into A2 would make sense for our driver. Turns out, Brabant is only a 4 minute detour from this gas station to Utrecht, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, etc.

awesome spot, lots of traffic, barely any wait time and the guy who took me was super chill and even took a detour to bring me to Utrecht Centrum.

It took us longer than we thought, but 22 minutes is still quick. A lot of people drove to the south. No one to Utrecht.

A ride to Rotterdam would have talen me just 5 minutes, Utrecht was a bit harder, but also fine.

Hard shoulder next to on ramp. I used sign Amersfoort, but accepted lift to Utrecht. 3 police cars passed by, none bothered to stop.

Probably the best spot in the Hague, got a ride to Utrecht fairly easily. Its an official Hitchhiking spot so there space to stop. Great start for our journey to Budapest

Took me a whole of five minutes to find a ride all the way to Utrecht (or close anyway since I needed to get further). Very good spot.
