Probably the best spot in the Hague, got a ride to Utrecht fairly easily. Its an official Hitchhiking spot so there space to stop. Great start for our journey to Budapest

Took me a whole of five minutes to find a ride all the way to Utrecht (or close anyway since I needed to get further). Very good spot.

I was there on a Saturday afternoon. Many people heading to Utrecht/Amsterdam bbut they were always full. But got a lift to Utrecht

My standard spot to leave, as i live next to it. Pretty fine, just use a sign with the highway number and direction. When going to Utrecht or Apeldoorn the 'carpoolplaats A12 Arnhem noord' is a great first step

Asked around for someone going to Utrecht, found a couple who brought me past Antwerp & dropped my of at a good spot!

Walking and hitchhiking here feels unwise and dangerous here, but it is legal I think (no highway). Police doesnt like it, but i never had issues with them here (they shouldnt see you crossing, I think). It is an unpleasant place I dont want to use to go to Apeldoorn or Utrecht. Sometimes I am here on my way to Nijmegen, it does work, I like the place under the bridge just before exit to Arnhem sounth and nijmegen

Very small gas station, didn't get as much traffic as an average gas station, but it was okay. It's just before the highway junction, so you can change to the A28 here or stick to the A1. I didn't have to wait all that long for a ride towards Hilversum. Also got an offer towards Utrecht

Find someone who is dropping people off and hope they are leaving utrecht, lots of people with full cars and not leaving the city.

Theres some space behind you where cars can park, its a good spot and lots if traffic, especially into the center of Amsterdam! Good spot to go to Utrecht :) We were two (Boy&Girl) and stood there with a sign. 🌱

Okay so we we arrived at Gare du Lyon at in the evening, got some kebab and continued our journey north. We knew about this station from the hitch south. From gare the lion we took the train to fosses and than a connecting bus to survilliers. The public transport trip took about an hour and costs 7,50 pp. We think it's worth the effort, considering the fact that we had a tent to camp at the station. From survilliers it's about 30 minutes walking through the industrial areas, which was quite scetch in the dark with all the cars racing by. Once we got to the petrol station we found a hole in the fence to enter the station, which was unnessecairy since there was also just a walkway a bit further. There are some nice grassy bushes to camp a bit away from the people on the station. In the morning we started hitching at 9 and after an hour we got a ride from this cool Canadian band all the way to Utrecht. Shout-out to Cola™️ for putting us on the guest list, you guys are great.

A lot trafic, we dont need to ask people when we come to this petrol station people starting to ask us where we need a lift, propably because we looklike we run a marathon cuz we go there from east hanover parking, got ride to utrecht
