We went there at night to reach Zwolle, after police took us to the train station north of there. However, it was almost empty until 5 am(1-2 drivers between 2 am and 5 am), but workers there were very nice. At the end we finally found someone who lifted us

It was under 15 minutes, got picked by a young couple who took us to a train station on their way. Our first stop, to reach bremen(through zwolle)

It can be difficult to go from Arnhem to Nijmegen. Cars from Apeldoorn and Zwolle leave a50 to go to Nijmegen center. The go here, can easilly see you and stop. I have been Hitchhiking here a lot, never more than 30 minutes

Waited 15 minutes. We're about to turn around to go further south and walk to julianaplein. Then we heard 2 cars, took one more try. One stopped, they saw my blue jacket together with the sign and thumbs and took us al the way to Zwolle. they had to go to Amersfoort. Arguably the best spot for leaving Groningen. Have one stand at left Emmasingel side (west) to talk to the drivers and one with the signs to Stationsweg (east) as a tip (worked last time)

Most cars went south or to Zwolle, but at the end i found a car to Rotterdam

use it often for Zwolle, good spot but sometimes the staff is anoyed by HH. just do your thing and send love :)

Surprisingly good spot for Zwolle, many people coming from the Ring.

Great spot during rainy or stormy weather, as there's a semi-enclosed bus shelter to hide in. Got a ride to a petrol station before Zwolle in less than 10 minutes.

Good place for catching the car to Zwolle.I catch the car within a minute.

Good spot for Zwartsluis and Zwolle. Bus station and a lot of place for drivers to stop.

Gas station on the A32 towards Heerenveen and Zwolle. Can also be used to hitch rides in the direction of Almere, Amsterdam and Utrecht.

I'm living in emmen and always starting my hitchhiking trip to the south from here, I normally have to wait a maximum of 15 minutes but usually one of the first cars pick me up. Normally I refuse cars that don't go as far as zwolle, because this is my favourite spot on this track and it's easy to find one.

Directions Zwolle/Groningen/Enschede (Emmen) not a lot of space to properly stop for cars but I still managed to get picked up in a few minutes due to low traffic.

Entrance to the motorway N34 Direction emmen/groningen. There's almost no taking this entrance, you'd better try hitching from the other side of hardenberg. The spot seems great for hitchhiking to zwolle/ommen from the other side of the road though.

Great spot going to Zwolle (20km) or further. Lot's of space to pull over. Even worked in the dark!

Traffic goes by fast. So I waited near the traffic lights end of the bus stop. Got a ride to zwolle in 10 minutes.

Got a ride direction zwolle after trying both lights for an hour. What worked was waiting on the centre grass on the east lights for cars heading south.

One of the best places in Utrecht for going northeast (A28). Got a ride to Amersfoort or Zwolle within 10 minutes countless times on this spot. Just ask drivers nicely - staff are friendly and let's keep it that way.

Stood here with a sign for Groningen, then changed it to a closer Zwolle, thinking our destination might seem too far for the drivers. As soon as we did it, a driver stopped, one that was going all the way to our destination :D
