Got really lucky a Sunday at 20.00 because got a ride to Kristiansand. It's a good spot with good visibility, space for cars to stop, direct access to highway, slow speed for cars, really nice!

Kristiansand direction. There is a bus stop with plenty of space to stop. Quite a bit of walk from the town but it's worth it.

Gas station, good for both north (Sandefjord, Oslo) and south (Kristiansand).

A spot where from you can get south or north, as there is nowhere else to go from this small town :). The second car was the one that stopped towards Kristiansand.

Nice spot for going south (Kristiansand). This is a new (you won't find it on Google Street) roundabout exit towards Larvik (E18). We were 3 guys (!) and it took us only ~20min to catch a car. I think it's better than the gas station if you're going south. You can get to that spot going through the footbridge that you can find near the supermarket behind the gas station.

In a middle of nowhere but a large bus stop and it's a main road to Oslo or kristiansand with a lot of trafic.

Nice place for leave Oslo and go to the south, i wait 30 min with a sign for kristiansand. If you dont have stuf for make a sign, ask to the garage BMW near the gaz station.

Gasstation by E18, the main road between Oslo and Kristiansand. This is a very good spot if you are going south!

Gasstation and fastfood. Here you will catch the main traffic between Oslo and Kristiansand, and also to Porsgrunn/Skien.

a perfect spot to Stavanger. Honestly I don't find on the map where it is exactly, but somewhere here. If you come form Kristiansand, take the bus 40 from the Centrum and get off the stop called Mjvann, and stay in the busstop. It't just perfect. Good traffic, place for cars to stop etc. I waited 2 minutes and got a direct ride to Stavanger. Be avare that the bus 40 runs once in an hour or weekends even less times. There is a gas station here right by a big supermarked, the gas station is right next to E18 (major road to Oslo, Kristiansand) and it's right next to Torp Airport. So there is a lot of traffic going thru here.
