If you fail to thumb a ride from a road, you can ask drivers on gas station.If you are heading to Gniezno, Toruń, Bydgoszcz direction, it's better to hike on Gnieźnieńska street, 2 km north from here.

There is a lot of place to stop about 100 m after lights. Cars are slow, and you can easily get a ride to Łódź, Warszawa. It takes me less than 5 min. You can even try to get a ride to Toruń and Gdańsk. Hitchhiking with a sign is much better :) You can also ask on a 2 petrol stations.―Autostopik.pl, April 2013

To get to the point you need to take one of the buses going to the station Fordońska- Wiadukt (65, 81, 33N). Then cross the bridge over Vistula river (Most Fordoński, approximatelly 800m long)and walk 500m more close to Strzyżawa. There is a bus station and a perfect spot for hitchhikers going from Bydgoszcz to Toruń and Warsaw.rating: 5/5
