(Friday, working day) Found a couple going to Warsaw. People around were friendly

I was eating at the gas station and my sign "Warsaw" was leaning against my backpack. Then a woman came up to me and asked if I wanted to go with them to Warsaw. Unbelievable! I didn't finish my meal, but it was worth it.

It was pretty late in the evening and i was very desperate to get a car going towards lomza. There is a gas station earbies but it was a bit dead there. So went to satnd at the exit but the shit part is that this exit is used both by lomza and warsaw people so you dont know how much traffic actually is going your way. But overall there is pretty nice place to stop. Some space but ofc have a sign. Alsoy desperation was so visible that i stoped a truck here. First time i got a truck not in the gas ststion so i wa svery happy because i really wanted to get to lithuania that day.

Insanely busy MOP. You can try probaly everything from here. As i am lithuanian I was trying to get a ride from lithuanians because really wanted to get drive past warsaw easily and not get stuck there. And i suceeded but sadly they were not driving all the way to lithuania that day :((( but still got past warsaw which i was more than happy with

Second car i asked me took past kielce and there is orlen there which is super popular so recommend going stopping there to catch a ride to warsaw or beyond.

Stood at the end of bus stop where cars can stand because most of the cars trun after it. So not that bad. Got a woman who hitchhiked before and took me to the first gas station even tho it was a bit out of her way. Had a sign WWA for warsaw

Easy to reach on foot or for someone to drop you off here. Ask around the Station in asking 10 minutes found a ride to Czech Republic, Zakopane, Wroclaw, Warsaw and Krakow. (Saturday noon)

Don’t get out here if you want to find a ride to Warsaw

Took some time until someone stopped but they went for the weekend to Gdansk so I could have stayed with them all the way. But I wanted to go to Warsaw so they dropped me at a McD on the S7

Really good spot. But unfortunately didn’t have enough patience to wait for a direct car to Warsaw. Now I’m camping in the middle of nowhere 20 km from Kielce

Very little traffic but I got lucky with someone going towards Warsaw. I think if you go anywhere else it would be impossible from here.

Heading to Warsaw I made a sign and showed in to truck drivers and the second truck was heading to Warsaw! Great spot towards Warsaw

Not A lot of traffic going past Warsaw in the morning, got a guy to bring me to the centre

weird but it was a very good spot to warsaw ahahah a little space for cars to stop but enough got took to warsaw by a local in almost 5-10 minutes on wednesday good luck 😌

not a really good spot cuz not a lot of space to stop but work for warsaw a bit a guy drop me to the MOP gas station good luck and use sign and all to have a lift 🫠

kind of a good spot for warsaw and all in the south wait about 45min around 12AM and finally got a lift to ostrada space for cars to stop (even truck) and a lot of trafic - cars are a bit fast so get a sign good luck it’s still working 🫡

Great spot for going towards Łódź and Warsaw. I could have gone with my driver even to Grodno in Belarus but as I wasn't going there yet I accepted ride to Warsaw

On the next day I decided to take the chance at the next bus stop in place from which you can hitchhike only toward Warsaw and Łódź as traffic to Poznań goes of right before this spot. This time I got really lucky as well I got ride on first service station on S8 almost instantly

Tried to get towards Warsaw but only two cars stopped and all of them were going towards Poznań and when it became little bit late I was forced to abort hitchhiking and start looking for places for camping
