We wanted to go to Czech and we git lift to a town near to border with Czech. We didn't wait really long time. The spot is not perfect because the gas station is small and there is not much space for cars; cars go slowly but only those from Wrocław. If you want to reach this place you have to take a bus to Park Handlowy Bielany Wrocławskie, go the other side of the Park Handlowy, go through parking, then on grass on small hill and find hole in fence (it's quite big), after you cross road and you are there

One male 40+, one big backpack, with a sign, a dry night. On my way from Lwów (Ukraine) to Wrocław (Poland), about 590 kms (successful). Not superb busy. No rain. I arrived here when it was already dark (20:00). Initially I was planning to go with my previous ride to Opole. But I decided to risk and it paid off. Normally I thumb only. But since it was dark I walked around with a sign "WRO" in my hand and I asked people. After 12 minutes the 4th asked driver agreed to take me to Wrocław. He was superb kind. On the way to Poznań he changed his plans and instead bypassing Wrocław on a highway (AOW), he went through Wrocław.

I went to the beginning of the queueing cars. With a sign "KRK" (short for Kraków) in my hand I started walking along the queue asking some drivers. After a 7-minute walk a couple agreed to take me. Since it wasn't the beginning of the queue I had to wait some time. It took us 3h15min to cross both (UKR/PL) checkposts. The couple was going to Opole. They dropped me on the last petrol station before they exited the highway. Which was a good decision.

A parking for some eating places. I was standing on a gravel bay just before it. Plenty of space to pull over. Decent visibility. After 10 minutes I got a ride to the border.

A very good visibility. It was only 5 minutes wait. A military (in a private car) took me less than 10 kms. He was going only to Jaworów. But he was kind enough and he dropped me in a nice spot a bit after that town.

It's an extra lane for entry and exit to various places like a petrol station etc. There is a bus stop at the end of it. Good visibility. Steady flow of cars. For the first half an hour I was standing with a sign "PL". Then I thought it could scare the short rides and the second half and hour I used only a thumb. I don't know why this place took so long. The place looks really good. But the other 3 rides before the border plus one at the border never took longer than 10 minutes. And here I waited one hour.

Perfect to Wrocław

OG Germany spot from Wrocław. Cool guy took us to Legnica gas station. If you are there, there are a lot of writings of other hitchhikers on the safety rail, so cool Easter egg too

One male 40+, a sign "Wroclaw", one small and ane big backpacks, a cloudy day (about to rain, but it didn't). Saturday. On my way from Budapest to Wroclaw. A very nice looking spot. After a petrol station, an exit 100-150 m extra lane, which gives loads of space to stop. Good visibility. Quite busy traffic. But I waited 2,5 h for a ride. I started at 15:00. At 15:30 a German girl stopped and said she was going to Wroclaw, but in 3 h. We exchanged the numbers. She left and I put my thumb again up. At 15:40 a guy offered me a ride to Krzeszowice. 20 kms west and off the highway. I turned down his offer. At 16:00 another (male) hitchhiker, going to Gliwice, joined me. At 16:20 a car going to Kuźnia Raciborska stopped. 130 kms west but off the highway again. If it wasn't for the German girl I'd have taken the ride. But I turned it down. The other guy went with them. At 16:45 another offer to Krzeszowice by a woman. Again I said "No" coz it was off the highway. At 17:10 the German girl called asking if I was still waiting and at 17:30 she and her boyfriend picked me up and took me all the way to Wrocław. It looks it's very hard to get on the highway from here. But it's not hopeless spot if you are willing to travel off the highway or wait long.

I waited almost 2 hour. Wednesday morning after Easter weekend. Women and daughter from Germany offered me a ride to Wrocław
